It's odd, I recall the 2005 and 2006 events never having so many finale problems. Did ANet change their networking methods or something?
In general you need to stick to lower districts for the party to work - unfortunately that also sacrifices peace and quiet/small parties.

Luckily, the events are also hosted on Monday.

Is anyone else not getting rewards from doing the emotes? I know a few people who were in the same Kamadan district as me that weren't getting them, so...
Kinda annoying, but oh well. Not that big of a deal I guess.

I really enjoyed the event, Was a "Blast". Got my rank 1 title in 3 minutes, started with 4 points towards the title, ended with 1280.
I love the redesign of the fireworks, the frogs look great. I was in district 6, no problems arose, everything went smoothly.Although I did not get to see the frog due to the massive crowd, I hope to steal a glance later on. Thanks again!
Now to get 10,000 points!

AGAIN.
23:50..00:30 GMT+2, Spanish 4.
No event.
Once is frustrating.
Twice is infuriating.

Ok... I managed to stay for a third try. And I hope being able to get to a last try tomorrow.
This time I get to the event and I'm happy to say that I managed to get the title to the first track but...
Well... it started around 10 minutes before the time it was supposed to start.
When the frog activated the Party Time effect, it was around 5 minutes before the correct time.
I think that next time I'll try to get to the place 20 minutes before or so...
Weird.

I'm only getting every other prize. It's a bit annoying because I'm a fast, accurate typist and I know I'm emoting on time. However, it's only Party Animal points so I'm not too concerned. Just giving Anet a heads-up that this isn't an isolated issue.
I was in LA US D1 if that helps any.
For what it's worth, it's a cute little event. I'm glad I attended. And I have to say, the lag hasn't been bad at all.

I always try to go for districts 1-10 for anything event wise.
This is what happened before for one of the events. The higher the number'd district, the less chance it'll reach and activate when needed.

There were reports than Gaile missed:

I was in one of the districts that didn't have the event occur (51). All we get is a "sorry"? :\
