Cost of a Stormbow
Now you may assume by the title that this thread should be in Price Check, but I'm not selling or buying a bow.
I'm curious why I can see identical Stormbows being auctioned anywhere from 20K to 200K?
both GOLD, both PERFECT Sundering mods, both PERFECT Fortitude mods, both Req 9, and both being bid on.
Why would a person sell a stormbow for 1/10th what it could be sold for?
Why would a person buy a stormbow for 10X what you can buy it elsewhere?
Just curious?!?

Selling for 1/10th because that person wants a fast trade.
Buying for 10X because that person hasn't got a clue about what's offered.

i'm not sure where you saw it or if you can check again, but maybe the more expensive one was inscribable.

Would that REALLY make something twice as valuable?
I'm glad I only spent 50K on the last one I bought.

Likely it's that one is inscribable and one is not (with the one that is NOT inscribable being much, much more expensive).

Because they drop less often (if you think about it, any noninscribable one that is 19% while hexed will just be merchanted, but an inscribalbe one with those stats would just be replaced with a 15^50 one).
If you think about it, inscribable weapons are in no way "better" then non-inscribable ones. Everybody just throws on a 15^50 anyway. They might as well be non-inscribable for fuctionality.
And I really hope joshuarodger's post was just a slip up/typo.
