Back before even greens were i the game. I was level 7 and made my first 100k, by the time I was level 14 I was a millionaire. How I did it? simple stock market tactics, buy low and sell high. Too bad you can't do that anymore, and rare items are overfarmed and lose value so quickly. Does anyone remember when Perfect eternal bows, storm bows, and fell blades were worth 800-900k+? and Ectos were over 20k and HoD swords were a common thing?

A millionaire at level14 back in the old days...? hahahaha if you're going to make up a story, try and make it a little believable.
Level 14 you'd would have been in the jungle? only shitty golds drop in the jungle, you'd have been lucky to get a max gold.
100k by level7...explain that to me...no way in hell you could have farmed it. No way in hell you could have made that much in trading, because at level 7 you wouldn't have anything to trade. Also, despite common belief trading requires a certain amount of cash injection before you can make a profit.
Buy/sell ecto, but to do that and to make a profit you need to buy in large amounts for under cost price, then you need to find an idiot how is offering at least 1.5k over cost price to make even the smallest amount of profit.
Trading materials...not possiable either really, because back in the golden days everyone went to Droks for materials. You could have crafted parchment, but at that level you'd have to farm low level critters for hours upon hours just to get enough wood to make a few k profit.
Unless I'm missing something...?

I have too many moments to name:
1. my first Drok's run in the good old days
2. FoW teams in my old guild (one of my favorite things)
3. Christmas party free Drok's runs while in my old guild
4. getting Legendary Guardian with my guild leader in my new guild
5. almost finishing MotN also with my current guild leader (sigh, I am not able to play now to finish it)
6. farming UW in the old days
7. the first time I finished Prophecies
8. getting Protector in Factions on 6 of my characters in random PUGs
9. heck, random PUGs in the good old days before heroes - I had many great times - cant do that now very much
10. the days back when THK was "hard" lol
11. Alliance Battles, until the wait times wore me out
12. saving for and getting my first FoW set
13. my monk got her FoW set (love my monk)
It just goes on and on, and I am not being very specific even.. too many stories and too many friends and good times with them to name. Sorry to all - you all know who you are.
As an aside, since bhavv raises it here:

Yeah, but you know what? I would rather level up further and acquire better items. It got boring after a while when every drop was no better or more or less the same as every other, when the only thing to do was change skins.
Some of the titles are very nice though. I adored Legendary Guardian and the Protector titles. I had SO much fun with those. Skill Hunters were fun on rainy days I had nothing else to do. I also enjoyed working towards MotN. Others outside of that, well, I have a number of others, just didnt enjoy them anywhere near as much.

The only need was cosmetics and yes, I am guilty of that. Untold millions into cosmetics lol.
Dont get me wrong though, I still love GW. Its just over time many parts of the game got dull, due to aspects above, and I had to find other aspects of it to interest me - namely the people I played with in both the guilds I have been in, setting common goals, working together for some titles, gameplay for certain activities has all remained fun. Other PvE aspects though leave much to be desired.

It was on my first serious character who's still my main in fact, (Me/Mo Fast Cast healer... latest flash back of my healer days is going smite for ascenssion (a pretty nice memory too, that one), i can still see myself screaming "I am a monk" in maaguma).
I was in ascalon city, pre-searing, when that guy come up at me (was either afk or playing somewhere in the interface) and say somethign like :
"hey, your character looks like my auntie" (or was that it? either way it wasn't exactly a typical young lady's style)
"thks, I reply walking up to him, nice one too"
I think he was on a female monk or a male ranger (why one of those two? NO idea). Whatever he was trying to do that guy put a smile on my face for a while. And if he ever reads this : She may look like your auntie, but Sani Ty looks incredibly great in her black canthan robe. (ok its actually shing jea style)

When I sold Brohn's Staff for 100K+16e.
When I sold three HoD swords for 100K+40e.
When I first bought max armor for my three most favourite characters.
When I first bought prestige armor.
When I was in a team that took and held the Altar for North America.

Completing the Abbadons Mouth mission and killing all those Mursaat bosses with a PUG of 4 wammos and a ranger. Our two monks and Leroooooy Ele all rage quit before the first boss because the party had "too many wammo's to heal" for their taste.
All us wammo's wanted to capture an elite, so we pressed on. The ranger was the only one that had a hard res, and he used it over and over again. We got our capture at the 2nd boss set then just decided we didnt need no damn monks and kept in rolling .
Mind you - it got a bit hairy at the seals when we were down to 2 people - one with a res and 3 lying dead on the floor. Everytime I got ressed I would get instantly nuked down again. One time I got up, went into quick retreat mode. and ran straight into the lava (splat face down).
Fun times.

In all honesty, it's very difficult to pick only one. GW1 seems to me like a long list of good moments and there's not one that comes before the others. Well, may be Abaddon's mouth was very cool and unique in GW1 .

I miss Pavia... We had fun in LBS before it turned nasty.
I basically think of the same stuff as you. I remember passing my droks run certs in LBS for the first time, and then watching as my storage filled up with ectos and gold from all those lazy peeps who wanted the runs. Ah yes, and the 100k per person runs for THK....ah the good ol' days!
