I wonder how much GW2 is expected to cost?
There's a question I want to be answered.

Also, it's an old article but still the most informative (how depressing considering it's a year old) one we have - thanks for bringing it back up.

I am a big fan of using those crazy things called "facts" instead of just recirculating rumors. I am glad that there are some others who are of the same mind.
Also...does anyone know of any more recent sources with some GW2 info.? If so, please post a link.

GW2 will be the budget friendly WoW, and it'll have success in that sense. After all thats what GW1 became, theres no argument really because time will tell.

I'm guessing it's going to cost the same as all the Guild Wars campaigns (excluding GWEN) upon release. I don't see why it would cost more.

I'm skeptical of GW2, but I won't lay down a judgement on it till the beta comes out.
If it is a WoW clone though, I wouldn't buy it.

True. Someone who wants a WoW type game will be a PvE only scrubber.

I have not been playing for years yet in Guild Wars, so I guess that all of the things you guys USED to find fun in the game are still there for me.
And they did say that GW1 will still be around, yes? So you can still do that.
And at the rate I get to play the thing, with lotsa kids and college work to do, GW1 will be fun for me for a loooong time....
