Yup, Gaile has stated many times that they would never put the DA in the online store, but then I'm pretty sure she said the CE would never go up either. I'm betting if they do have any lying around they'll go up eventually. Big "if" though.

In holland i believe it was 49.99 euro for normal prophecies edition and 59.99 euro for CE prophecies when i bought it when game was released.
+ i preordered the damn thing for 10e and got the american pre order canthan targe thing. But because i preordered i got 5euro discount on the CE.
so in total it cost me 64,99 for preorder key + CE proph key. And there were a lot of them!

I bought Nightfall CE this week for 40 at gamestop/Ebgames. You have to find a store with it, not the online place since the only copies around are those that haven't been sold yet in the stores. http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/Prod...oduct_id=61897

If they have any of the original collector's edition lying around they could probably get a lot for it if they sold it via a charity auction.

In my opinion if everyone could get Divine Aura then it wouldn't be special anymore, it would just be another dumb thing that everyone has. Just like everything else in the game.
Here when Guild Wars was released it costed 50$ USD for regular, and 75$ USD for CE Edition I think, was a good idea to spend a little extra on it.

I agree, I missed out on the collectors edition, and would like to have them, but if it's something everyone can easily get now, it would make it pointless. The special dances for Nightfall and Factions aren't so important though, especially as it's still very easy to find those for sale.
I don't think it would be so bad if they put up the Prophecies one again, as a limited run or something.

As my Factions collectors edition arrived today from the plaync merchandise store (UK), I can confirm that adding the code does unlock the miniature kuunavang.
And to answer the question about rushing, you can guarantee it's not used (unlike online auction sites), there's a limited number and it's cheaper than the price you suggest from online auction sites.

listing of all you get from Factions CE from NCsoft

Probably because the Kuunavang was never in the CE at the outset anyway. It was added as an apology because of all the release problems with the Factions CE. I had no such problems, but still got a Kuunie because the code is activated for anyone with a CE key. As has everyone who bought it. Pick up a retail box and you'll find it's not listed on there either.
Mostly I just posted this because a) they're cheaper than high street prices and b) a lot of people don't like to buy software from eBay, myself included. But like I said, if there are any Proph editions hanging around in NCSoft's coffers, ya never know. Unlikely, but not impossible.

$75 for CE. Headphone quality surprisingly good for an add-in.
Of course, the real bonus is the divine aura, something that didn't seem such a big deal at the time. But 3 years later I'm pretty glad I have it. And the only way I wouldn't seriously /whine if they sold it in-store is if it were A) Expensive and B) The proceeds went to charity.

Give me 250 Mud Bricks and I will give you in return: Divine Aura.
Hench the name Collector's Edition, it is for those truly wanting to add a little flair to the game. It would a bit disappointing for those who actually bought the collector's and then to see a flood of flirt-mentalists all over presearing. Divine Aura is a sign of devotion to spend the cash to get a little perk with the emotes.
Heck, I bought the original and then the Collector's Edition for both Prophecies and Factions. After being stressed and annoyed from a particular MMORPG, and seeing the wonders and no-online-fees and such easy and relaxing enviroment Guild Wars offered, I couldn't help but to search for this item.
Consider this: how much of the time you play involves using emotes? Other than to dance on that poor assassin in AB or to fail Rock, Paper, Scissors against Mad King Thorn, it is not such a big thing to worry about.
It is also like festival hats, you miss it, then too bad. Once the once-in-a-game-time opportunity shows up, it is the player's responsibility to get what they want.
Also, would you want to spend a lot of cash for something you would use until Guild Wars 2 comes out? I mean that game is coming in the near future, and it probably is a better idea to save the money for any Collector or Special Editions that may appear.
Be grateful for a game without the online fees, spawn-camping, pop culture references, and a game in which money is to get what you want (instead of repairing weapons/armor).
But one things for sure: You cannot turn in a stack of Mud Bricks for Divine Aura. xD

Don't know if they went more than once tbh. It was dumb luck I happened to be snagging Firefly cast members that day, I don't usually go. Although if the Daleks show up, I'm there like a shot.
I still think he was winding me up, this was about a year ago but I never posted it as it's only my word, and I didn't fancy the flamewar.

Im rather glad the original prophecies CE isnt on the site, i own it and if everyone would be able to buy it the devine aura loses its exclusivity, and people would be pissed.

Quick Clarification
Orignail Guildwars has full size art book (not cd holder size) and game with "Divine Glow" effect with your account. This is an effect that show up doing an emote. The "Soundtrack" was just a standard Audio CD. No DirectSong version.
SE GuildWars does not have divine glow, has the "mini" art book but has a very special DirectSong code that gets you the GuildWars OST and 4 sound tracks you can not get by any other means. and 7 normal skill / 1 elite unlock code (to get that skill bar build you want unlocked for pvp from start).
