Pissing me off because i can no longer buy a Z - key for fun :P now its 5k and its just not worth it. about 3 months ago i bought 42 Z - keys just for fun :P now i cant do that which is a shame. However i suppose it is good that Anet is trying to up the value of certain itmes again. The ecto drop rates for example hardly ever drop from farmable foes in the UW.

People keep saying "money sink" when it come to this update. These people have NO clue what a money sink is, haha. Gold going back and forth between players does not equal sink. The gold's still out there.

Also, buying emotes = most horrible, HORRIBLE update yet. Even worse than when they killed all dyes.

I don't know... I think its an improvement. Before 5,000 balth faction was worth a flask of firewater. Now it's worth 5k. Not bad.

Let them buy their emotes. Its not like anyone will respect them or whatever for it because everyone will know that they probably bought it. I think this title is more for the title grinders/perfectionists who have to max out all their titles.

thats insane

i must say its a useless title if you want to get it your thing i dont mind but i've got a life^^

No! All the weapons are already in the game and the shockwave is a texture effect. A few hours, if it takes you more than a day to design it, you should suffer a massive salary cut.

POINT 4: Why an emote for this title?

The emote shows a spear (and later an axe and a hammer) cleave the ground in front of the user.
In my view, this has little to do with a chest run title, but I won't start on this.
The point is, why does ArenaNet make an emote for a chest-run title, while players have been asking for gladiator and champion rank emotes for quite some time now. This emote could have been used for gladiator or champion, since it looks like it has more to do with combat than it has with chest running...moreover, this might give players an impulse to participate in RA/TA/GvG more often.

PvE players have been asking for an Emote since day one, why shouldn't we get one?

If the use of an Emote is bad form then Anet should ban the Charr from GWEN who emote dead players all the time. Most of the people that wined about Emotes in HA were likely young childeren that never should have been playing competitively anyway.

You claim this is a purchased title, most of the titles are anyway..

That being said many people DON'T purchase titles they actually earn them. Whether its grind in PvE or AB its still players putting in time and effort to get a very small reward.

As for the Emotes, maybe they should have let them be a surprise, but then with people reading the gw.dat file somebody would have posted something sooner or later.

Personally I think PvE should have had an Emote a very very long time ago, preferably tied to Protector/Guardian/Legendary Guardian/KOBD title track.

From my pov, players who don't pvp can now buy keys and get an emote, which is something new and - maybe - exciting for them.
I don't have the right to say "hey remove it cause I don't like it and it's absurd and hypocrit and blah blah blah"...

The fact that the price of keys increased immediately, demonstrates that demand for keys has increased too, so many players want this new title...

Emotes existed in this game from day1 so a new emote is not changing something.

The way this emote will be used is based on the mentality of each player.
If someone is retarded the lack of emote won't prevent him from showing his "retardness".

Emotes look cool to newer players, so they are being given a chance to get them without being called a nub by r6+ PVPers..

If ANET changed HA so that each entering party must have at least two rank 1 or 2 players there would be an uproar, so what they have done is seperated elitism and emotes from going hand in hand. The Hardcore PvPers have their VERY exclusive emotes, and now a less exclusive one has been introduced that gives everyone an equal chance at achieving it.

When will the crying stop? So many tears..this title doesnt actually effect anyones game so why is there so many tears?
