Done some farming and no Lockpicks yet during this event. Tried with Hench/Heros and Solo, Nothing.

I did however get 3 Lockpicks a few hours before it started from One area with a team of Hench/Heros. Weird...

So i can't see any increase in the drops, more like a messed up drop rate.

We did Tombs last night and we had 10 lockpicks drop for our party. It's definitely noticeable in a full group, as I normally see 3-4 in a Tombs session.

What was noticeable different, however, were the gold drops....we only had 1 gold drop the entire run, when we usually get around 6-7. I wonder if they coded it to where if a gold normally drops, a lockpick does instead...

I am having more luck away from the Over farmed raptors, 2 Olafstead ELE runs 4 picks, 2 Vaettier run 3 picks a few places in Factions= another 4 picks, less than 2 hours=11 picks compared to yesterdays 4 hours of Over farmed raptors to get 2 pick.

The reason not as many Lockpicks are dropping as other event items is because Lockpicks aren't exempt from loot scaling, while event items like cupcakes or clovers are.

In that case the whole idea of double droprates is quite useless since most of us have our favourite places to get lockpicks, and run them over and over.

Well, for me, zero, nada, nothing until now, about 3 hours, 2 spots, where I normally get 1 per hour if I really try... Don't tell me its just bad luck lol, events like this are supposed to please everyone, and prevent bad luck. To equal my normal score I should find 6 lockpicks in the next 3 hours, and to improve it... Well, I suppose its a waste of time, sigh.

Has anyone noticed a higher gold item droprate? Since the weekend started I've been VwK farming smites in NM and now average 1-3 golds *per run*. Usually it's no more than 1 every 2 or 3 runs.

I have not noticed an increase in lockpick drops at all... done 10+ tombs runs now... 1 ecto, 0 lockpicks O_o

I've been getting 2-4 keys per UW run, so I've noticed the difference (solo farming that is).

Double drop rate weekends are only useless for items affected by loot scaling. The effects of the weekend actually show for double greens, which aren't affected by loot scaling. That's just my idea, anyways.

So I'm seriously the only one noticing a drastic increase in drops? Fronis' Lair normal mode, 25 runs this evening, averaging a pick a run, 51% retention on the chest every time. I had 4 picks, now have 14. Not to mention 1 white dye, 1 black, 1 minor vig, 1 sup vig (box loot,) and 8 aged ales. Why isn't everyone in Gunnar's Hold? Just curious.
