Ill use Kamadan first, Lion's Arch 2nd, Kaineng.... only if necessary.
I like that Kamadan has the most people + all the traders are like in the same spots. Lion's arch isn't too bad for that either but man Kaineng always feels like I'm lost trying to find the one guy I need.

Kamadan because it seems to be the most populated; Lion's Arch afterwards since there are still a fair amount of people there. I rarely stop by Kaineng; it's essentially dead.

Great, then I am visiting the right place!
The best thing about the GWEN portal is that when I want to jump to C1 - I don't need to jump to LA any longer.

Always Kamadan.. but if I have no luck there I will stop by LA. Kamadan just seems to be the best place to buy and sell items.

I have always preferred Lions Arch.
I much prefer the scenery, and I have better knowledge of whereabouts of everything there. Kamadan would come up second, if LA didn't take my merchants interest. Kaineng I usually try to avoid, It's so dirty :O

Green items that I try to sell go to their respected "game" depending on class:
Lion's Arch for Core classes.
Kamadan for Paragon and Dervish.
Kaineng Center for Assassin and Ritualist.
If no luck through this method, the places I visit, in order:
Kamadan
Lion's Arch
Kaineng Center
Shing Jea Monastery
Ascalon City
Droknar's Forge
I'll then retry the top three again in reverse order and if still no luck, I just try again tomorrow or whenever I'm not busy.

i'm not much into trading so I usually avoid Spamadan, too crowded wich can play hell with my loading tmes, not to mention the party size is four and all the merchants and traders are so spread out you have to run all the way across town repeatedly if I'm fiddling with excess materials.
Since I don't usually care to sell stuff I prefer Kaineng for most things, it has all essential traders and they're all located fairly close together, the party size is eight and there are several max armor crafters there as well.

Lion's Arc first, but because it's a habit. Kamadan second, because trading in Kaineng seem's like a waste of time.

Kamadan. I also use Shing Jea as my chatroom for the 95% of the time I'm on the game.

I usually swap between Kamadan and LA for buying/selling, though it is probably a 75/25 split, with Kamadan as as the clear leader. As for a chatroom, guild chat and whispers are about as social I get.

For trading, I always start in LA, move to Kamadan, then to KC. I havn't noticed any advantage in selling in an particular place, though Kamadan is the most populated. If something is going to get sold, it wil usually sell faster there. LA seems to have more Low end and High end buyers, Kamadan seems to have the most middle of the road traders.
For hanging out I like the middle districts of LA and Kamadan. Though I consider LA more of a home than Kamadan.

I wish that the trade chat for the Towns was the same like in WoW so it wouldnt matter where you were. As for me, I go to LA out of habit. Droks is dead which is unfortunate, I miss trading there.

Kamadan = When I want to buy/sell specific stuff/weapons, and general purpose as it is where I chestrun (well the continent) (I still have RoT quests to finish) (and seriously I can never find Kodash/Sanctuary).
LA = I don't do any trading there anymore but go often. More of a tradition.
KC = Dead and sucks. Welcome to Cantha. Only purpose are the 3k experience quests.
Droks = Even Ascalon has more people, but someties I head there for material sellers.
What is really annoying is that in none of this cities the traders are right next to Xunlai chests.
