Default Nothing really changes

Just from the title I am sure there are many of you ready to tell me I am crazy, but now that I have your attention read on to see what I am going on about.

I was away from GW for almost a year and I (within the past 2 weeks) decided to come back to GW. Now I have noticed quite a few game changes, some I like some I dont. I have also noticed quite a few things that I wished would have been changed, but where not.

Now all of this is fine and I will not go on about them, but what I still find utterly amusing is all of the Idiots still in the game. What I am going on about are those people who seem to have nothing better to do but to sit around in the cities say things like "I'm bored" or "GW Sucks". Or those people who feel it is really important to let everyone known that they like to say discrimanting remarks.

I know this happens in ALL games and I know these people can be reported (and some have), but it just struck me as funny.

One last thing, if any of you that are reading this are some of those people, can I have your stuff? You dont like playing so why not give your things away.

Certainly, the one thing that has remained constant from the start is the proclivity of forum posters to start pointless threads that inevitably degenerate into flames and meta-flames.

Months dont change people, especially in the online community. I am not sure how anyone could think going away for a short time would all of the sudden change the playership of our game into rhodes scholars. It is an online game, there are all types from your E-thug to your predator. And all in between, get into a guild that you can relate to and enjoy the game, if you cant find that group, then try a different game or just turn off local chat.

It's a PG rated MMO...and it's the gaming community...what were you expecting?

They whine about GW in game and you whine about them here. I noticed something similar.

Beggars are just as bad, if not worse, than any of those "idiots", and fall into the same category.

That said, a year away from the game will not magically change things when you get back. It will be exactly the same. You will ALWAYS have the trolls, the humpers/pervs, the flamers, the beggars , etc. I mean c'mon...it's online.

Though the people that sit around in game complaining of being bored do amuse me to no end. There are how many other things they could be doing instead?

You are absolutely correct, nothing in GW ever changes. After a year or two, we still get people posting about how GW is still the same. Oh they might say it differently, try be be smart, but the meaning is still the same... "Nothing ever changes"

Sorry couldn't resist

Guild Wars is a free game and that's what attracts people to this game when they're out of ideas.

And begging? lol.

There's no need to beg for items here, we have a whole section of the forum dedicated to giveaways from people who don't like the game anymore or just don't need the stuff.
