What part of PVE only dont you understand? You missed the whole point of the thread. Shows how well you can read.

And Minion groups in HA were rubbish, but I guess you werent around when people played them, nor that you understand that they wouldnt work with the new map changes.

Seriously, Splinter Weapon is the best damage skill in the game, and it needs a buff? Aggressive Refrain is the best IAS in the game and it needs a buff?

If you think those skills aren't already the best in the game lrn2play.

If you want the game to be easier just come out of the closet and ask for an ursan buff.

Not since they were nerfed they arent. They need un nerfing for PVE before they are good again.

Lets morph all three blessings into an epic collage of PVE ownage that KD's, blinds, weakens, bleeds, and deep wounds with every shot. That and of course 60% chance of evasion, it would make PVE so uber cool.

We can also change Light of Deldrimor into an area wide nuke that permantley blinds enemies because they briefly saw the figure of our greatness.

Or, the guild wars community can stop bitching about every damn little thing that ArenaNet tries to do. Yea, once upon a time they claimed skill over time. Yea, once upon a time they said that PVE and PVP were purposelly intertwined and it would stay that way. But do I care if a skill is "overpowered" in PVE? I sure as hell don't. People complain and moan about every thing in this game, just as they complained and moaned about the trinity of nuker, tank, and healer. Play the stupid game. Overpowered skills mean nothing. Money means nothing. Your titles mean nothing. Not even that UBER RAIR PANDER you bought for three trillion ectos means anything. People take this game WAY too seriously.

I think all of the ursan's skills need to be combined into one to make it easier to use, and because sometimes I die when all 3 of my monks go AFK and I aggro a whole HM DoA group. So I propose the following:

Ursan Madness 0e 0c 1r
Shout. All enemies within earshot are weakened, knocked down and take 40...75 damage, twice. All Allies deal +5...15 damage per attack and move 20...33% faster for 8...14 seconds.

It might be a little underpowered because waiting 1 second for it to recharge really sucks, you might take some damage if you aggro two ele bosses who are immune to knockdown, but lets just change it to this for now and we can see how it goes. If it needs to be more powerful we can obviously buff it again.

I am partially being both serious and sarcastic. The sarcasm is that I dont really care about the skills or PVP. The hidden seriousness is that some skills were in fact killed for PVE (Hello my name is Hex Eater Vortex, I am an elite skill and I take longer to recharge and do far less damage then Shatter Hex, and no one really cares about my enchant removal in PVE).

Also, I would actually like solo farming to become what it was before it got nerfed purely because it was fun. Regardless of how imbalanced it may be, does it really matter if I farm using Stoneflesh Aura and Mystic regen, when I can just use the epic long lasting Shadow Form or Ether Renewal instead? Or Smite / 600 duo with my hero just about anywhere in the game? How would it be any different for you if someone else is farming in PVE with these skills?

I dont see how it does matter if these skills were reverted for faming purposes. They were only nerfed in the first place becasue of PVP, I doubt PVE played any part in Gale being nerfed because Warriors used to overuse it in HA.

The solution is not to make every skill as imba as Ursan, it's to make Ursan - in addition to the other overpowered skills - to be balanced. This would also require them to buff a lot of "useless" skills, but I'd much rather they sort out priorities.

I think the OP is being a little overzealous. However there were some skill which took quite a hammering due to PvP. These are the skills that need addressing. Once some of the underpowered skills are brought into line with the current popular ones there should be no reason why we shouldn't have lots more variety of builds in PVE.

The principle of buffing some skills is good. How this is managed, well this is down to Anet.

Its a shame, this should have been a useful thread

[energizing wind] is the clearest "dead" skill they need to revert for me. Surely there is no justification for leaving it dead in PvE.

and while your at it, Un-nerf the following:

Armor and absorption stacking on warriors just like the old days
AI flee for AOE damage just like the old days
No loot scaling as in every enemy drops something no matter how big the bunch.
