Anet and there decisions.
Fist of all this is no rant nor a QQ.
But i was thinking about Anet decisions lately.
How do we get screwed next.
1st
HoM update soon it's nice that they finely thought let please more people.
(it's a fact that the HoM is a epic phail feature.)
But why is it that i see it as another laim decision to another grind/accumulate fest course they know there last fest didn't last that long.
IMO this update is almost a year to late and then yet again only Tormented Weapons.
2nd
Z-rank im not a big fan of titles but why this decision why do they add a title and that they know this is gonna make a riot in the everlasting grind world of PvE and there high end title wankers.
And some of you got screwed course you bought and used keys to soon. I know a chap who could Kopf Tisch his head course he bought it in the hope that he could get something nice and got screwed by this stupid decision of Anet to add a stupid title (course that he doesn't get the points he collected before the title).
3rd
PvP/PvE skills it's a good idea but they pick some skill from what they know they are gonna be overkill in tha world of farming.
Why do they make these decisions do they intent to make a death spiral or are they so incompetent that just don't see it or don't wanna see it.
These are just some things that where in my head and i would like to debate with you lads.

Because on a drawing board it looks like an awesome idea, when they implement it it always ends up different.
And because Arena Net has spend money and time on it they leave it in the game for those that do like it.
The probem is that Arena Net doesn't know the game.

Anet and their decisions.
I don't agree with some decisions they make yet I still play. So do most other people. Surely this counts for something.
If you're wondering about how they'll screw us over next, I have reason to believe there's a patch tonight that is likely to have skill balances. I bought popcorn for the occasion.

Coulda fooled me.
One point that you raise, however, is something that I've been mulling over in the dark recesses of my mind...anyone else think that A-Net may intentionally be exploiting some of the crazy indulgent ideas that some players have been putting forth to encourage a transition to GW2?
In other words, is it possible that they've introduced overpoweredness, flashy useless titles and other silly non-substantive features to get players "just sick enough" of GW1 to "make" them move over to a more realistic, well grounded game in GW2?
I know, I'm a conspiracy theorist, but it's something that I've been wondering with the latest introductions to the game.

Yes true on a drawing board it looks like a good idea.
But HoM turned out a epic fail feature.
But do you really think that they add tormented weapons for your average joe
they add course they need another time sink. They know that there a people crazy enough to grind 11 of those.

I think that would be a terrible move for ANet to make. Furthermore, title grind doesn't keep everyone playing; ANet even admits that players can choose to stop playing for any period of time because there is no monthly fee bounding the players to the game. As for ANet making Guild Wars 2 a "more realistic, well grounded game", I suppose that just depends on how those ideas are defined by ANet.

doesnt sound crazy to me, some ppl is getting really sick of the cause updates that screw (even more) the economy (ursan, sf, er....and the list will keep growing) so they are geting tired
but i wonder how many will give a chance to gw2 after this bitter experience

I don't think that's the case Jetdoc, becuase there's no GW2 to move to.
--
1. What, there was an update to the HoM? And even if there was, making the monuments more accessable is a bad thing? o.0
2. It's a nice way to make money from casual PvP, or a title. Honestly though, I sort of agree it was a bad route to take. Personally, it would have been nice if it accepted keys used and/or Balthazar Faction.
3. Are you serious? Before the PvE/PvP skill split, half of the posts on this forum after every update were people talking about how their farming build had been nerfed becuase of the PvP side. Now half the posts are about people talking about how having their farming builds back will ruin the game.
The reason that they make these decisions is that a lot of people asked for them. I think it is prudent to realize that no entity can please everyone, especially in this case.
Personally, I think adding torment weapons to the HoM is a good idea. Z-key's are a nice, easy 5k every day or two. And I don't care a lot about the PvP/PvE skill split becuase I'm playing PvE mostly, and it's still like any other skill balance.

would be possible if GW2 was near release, but it's too far from release for them to start this like 2years ahead.
