I don't get why they just don't make it customized to your account instead of your character. Or customized in a way that anyone can use it, and customize it for their damage increase, but just cannot stick in the HoM.
Eh, I will only stick a shield, spear, and staff in there then. Maybe a healing Focus and Scepter.

Why is Anet so inverted? They like... revise Proph end game after 3 years.... now they add torm weapons for HoM? Yeah I agree with the people who said it should have been done like this in the first place.... Anet plays too many tricks on us lol. Now torm weps might increase, either that or more people will farm them. Looks like I might farm some this summer =)

Though I probably won't use most of them, at least with Crit Strikes you *could* use them if you really stretched it.
Regardless, I won't be buying Tormented weapons for my HoM since I already got Destroyer Daggers. Still, I'm glad that they're doing this. I might buy an Armbrace just to see if I can cash in on the inflation.

For example: everyone wanted end game weapons in proph, anet gave them, after a long time, but still, they gave them. For your gaming pleasure.
And if you don't feel like getting all the weapons, then just don't...
I don't mind a bit more room for weapons in my hom ^^ (ahum, and my inventory (wink wink) )

Do you need the full set of rare minis (Zhed, Vizu, etc) to get a completed minipet monument? No, NONE of the monuments require you to have any specific entry to count as complete. Why would the weapon monument be any different?

No, because people naturally find things to complain about. Yes, I complained, but I'm not dissatisfied, I just would like a weapon set thats a little easier on the wallet to be able to be put into the HoM. Should Tormented weapons have been able to be put into the HoM right away? Yes, is it good that they did? Yes, will it be better if more can be put in? Yes.
People want more and more, its called Greed, there is a reason why its one of the Seven Deadly Sins, because nearly everyone has it. Humanity is falling sadly, you and I are no exception.

I'll drop my tormented shield in there, but other than that it doesn't change the plan - fill up the "buy me" monumnets a few months before gw2 when they're nice and cheap.
