Every class can farm UW. Paragons and Dervishes have it a bit harder, as both rely on physical damage (well, Paragon burns enemies with Refrains, but still he has to attack), Rangers can trap/stoneflesh/touch Smites, Warriors can W/Me or W/Rt, Necroes and Monks have it easy, Mesmers can go Me/Mo, Me/Rt and Me/E, Assassin could SF it (not perma, but meteor shower and smites, not Chaos).
Elementalist COULD solo chaos plain, but it was harder to evade attacks from Behemoths, he wasn't invincible to Aatxes and Graspings. Was harder.
BTW: Can't Touch This STILL USELESS. I took it once against Dinosaur-like Asuran monsters. And I was surprised that it's STILL not AoE. Only paragon... Really lame that character that is supposed to be party-wide support has skills that in theory could work on other characters, but don't.

Idk quite honestly I couldn't care less what they do with SF, I would rather they leave it as is, gives sins some better use in higher end areas.
I would like to see Ursan changed though, not because it makes things too easy or w/e but because like it has been said it destroys class diversity and forces those whose guild/alliance isn't active/big enough to do elite areas together to use ursan.
Really they should reduce the frontend damage or kd ability of it but add some bonus for each class (as has been suggested here) it could be the addition of a class specific skill when in the form. That could make it not the end all skill to be used in some areas while still maintaining some class diversity when the blessings are used.
admitedly balancing the damage and class specific benefits would be tricky but I think it'd be better than forcing everyone to go farm a norn rank if they want groups for elite areas.
btw: Cheers for Mystic Regen's return to awsome-sauce in PvE!

With ANet going ahead and making (sometimes radical) changes to skills ([Wail of Doom]), maybe this is a good trend. The devs are going in and basically giving us new skills without needing to purchase a new campaign.
I am holding out the optimistic hope that the Mesmer will become even more viable, and fun to play, in PvE! (Since they no longer need to worry about upsetting PvP balance.)
Further along, maybe the future updates may start to change other aspects of the game, too.

Suggestion:
Change SF to a true form.
Your character literally become invisible, leaving ONLY the shadow on the ground.
You become completely invulnerable, including AoE attacks.
You can deal NO DAMAGE (by any means) while in SF.
Most monsters will NOT aggro while you are in SF. (a few 'shadow' based monsters CAN affect you)

I like "can't touch this" for its long duration, low energy cost synergy with soldier's fury.

I think most of this is way too much of a functional change to the skill itself to work as a way of balancing the skill.
However, as I mentioned previously, just changing it to a Form instead of an Enchantment would probably serve the purpose.
Peace.

I am not whinning you just have an over powered farmingbuild that is all and it shouldn't be able to solo to the Plains of Chaos.I already lvled to many char already and have played this game 3 years straight ad have given NCSoft and Anet enough of my Money more than you ever have so I a right to complain. Those ppl aren't getting red cent out of me anymore untill eveyone has an equal opportunity to do this.

It could always be moved to Fast casting.
I have payed my money for this game and I am not a satisfied customer yet more than most of you.

We have all payed money for this game, and Anet have it. They can freely change their game and nothing will prevent them.
The bigger thing to deal with is things like Ursan, and besides which, I believe Mesmers can also perma-SF Plains aswell.

OMGOMGOMG you played for 3 years, and spent lots of money on the game! That makes you soooo special and Anet should listen to you and do exactly as you say!
What are you, a kid that needs everything to go your way? "I've spent soooo much money/time on this game!! More money than other people!!! But other people have what I don't have!" is a pretty lame argument for why you think something should be changed. See ebay? That's where people who think they should have better stuff in gw by spending more money go.
Oh, btw, just in case you didn't know, 'to whine' and 'to complain' are synonyms in a lot of thesauruses.

Not every class can Dual run CoF! (Or replace CoF with various dungeons/missions)
Not every class can do the Droks run!
... I could go on and list pages of stuff not every class can do...

Seriously, dude, either you paid MASSIVELY over the odds for the games or your idea of a two-week trip to Mexico involves confusing the Border Patrol by jumping the border in the wrong direction and then hiding out at the cheapest diner in Tijuana for a fortnight.
Like a lot of people here, I bought the CE of each game on day of release (well, Prophecies - just Guild Wars as it was - was about 3 weeks after release), as well as EotN. I also got 4 character slots and the 'Million Edition' weapon pack thingy. Big whoop We've all paid 'a lot' for this game (and many paid not so much - good for them!) and we've had a good 3 years out of it so far. Even if the whole thing shut down tomorrow, it's been a blast and I'm happy with it.
Peace

I am a lot older than you think possibly old enough to be your father anyways. What I am pointing out here is there are no more groups forming parties just Sins farmers.I don't see that as being balanced sure others farm but just the smites only and most dual up or use a hero.
How are other suppose to get the quests fineshed in FoW and the UW with nothing but A/E walking around?

By going with their guild or folks from their alliance, usually. Or by putting up an LFG in the Party Search (preferably stating which area they want and what their build is) and then waiting a few minutes (probably longer if you're not there during the US east coast's evening), perhaps chatting politely with the others there. Just not by standing around the Temple of Ages, Zin Ku Corridor (or whatever the bloody place is called), or the Chantry of Secrets attempting to join random groups, spamming your LFGs, or whining about all the Ursan groups or Assassins and how you're being ignored and no one will take you (behaviours I've seen frequently during my visits).

The game is great right now. Nerfing anything will make me sad. I wonder how many players that grinded for ursan will leave in the event of a nerf? Trying to get people to stick with GW long enough for GW 2? Starting down the wrong path arena net.
