This.
Either way, you can still farm it with every profession.
It won't change that it can be farmed, and besides, the price of Ectos are on a stable level.
And if you're going to kill anything, kill Ursan as it killed the original game design.

Maybe add charged Blacknesses to the first chamber, just to screw over most farming builds?

A guildie mentioned what he'd do the other night, instead of nerfing SF/giving mindblades stupid skills/or nerf the drop rate he said just make the Behemoth spawns impossible every time. Make a perfect block, sounds like a good way to me.

I am no fan of the new SF and I believe that something must be done to stop the ecto farming with perma-SF builds. This entire farm could be ruined by adding the nature ritual [Tranquility] instead of the [Nature's Renewal] where you must run from the first chamber area to the Chaos Planes. It would thus be impossible to maintain SF during the run and you would die. I realize it would affect many other builds including some legit ones, but this is supposed to be an elite area anyway right?

Take heroes to take them out, then lead them to certain death (or just gray them out) and go about your business. It'd add maybe 4 to 5 minutes to a run depending on the amount of chokepoints that are blocked.

Add an environmental effect: Every 10 seconds, all enchantments are removed.
Kills SF sins and whammos in one go. Two birds with one stone, baby. Boo-yah! Well, and a few monks...

Both of you are forgetting that UW monsters only have core skills and I doubt Anet will change that.

Don't see why they couldn't do they when they already reverted the core of their game. OH I'm terrible!

I'd go with hitting SF.

QFT. I wouldn't mess around with an area that's been around since Prophecies because ANet decided to mega buff an already good farming skill. Honestly, shadow form shouldn't be the way it is. Whether you think there should be balance in PvE or not, being invincible by the use of 3 skills should definitely not be allowed.

What are you talking about? Monsters in UW have prophecies skills. Aatxes have both ripostes, which are prophecies skills.

First of all, those who suggest nerfs on guru are 99% of the time doing it for the lulz. Anet will do what they wish and us players have very limited input.
That said, don't mess with the skill. Remove drops from summoned mindblades, instead. No other summoned creature (eg. Murakai's Servants) drop anything, so why should these.
Alternatively, tweak the Charged Blackness patrols so that it is impossible to completely avoid them, and reprioritize their skills so they use Shock first. Add some to the Chaos Plains for the hell of it.

Mindblade Spectres have Migrane. Dhumm Horsemen have Power Block. Smites have Shield of Judgment, and so on. Not core.

why do you want to nerf it? some folks who couldn't afford anything find a new fun farm that doesn't bore them to death (heh, not like ursan) and the only things people can think is on "nerf nerf nerf"... It doesn't destroy pve play, it doesn't destroy diversity on groups, its a SOLO FARM.
And it doesn't destroy gw economy, its already destroyed

They are not summoned, just delayed popup foes. Removing drops from them would kill the area as a whole because they are the main foes of the chaos plains. Only having 8 or so foes able to drop loot in an area that big would be rediculous.

Because being indefinitely invincible should not be allowed in any online game.

You couldn't solo farm before they buffed it?

HUH? up until recently I never made a Sin. I farm greens all the time when I like one or find one I need/like. So for 3 years I've farmed greens without a Sin or that skill.

the behemoths could be equipped with [energizing wind] or [muddy terrain] to made it harder
with the snare of muddy terain you won't be able to outrun the blacknesses and done, the chaos planes are safe and other farm builds aren't harmed by it
