dread mask, ninja mask, and chaos gloves are all awful, and never match anything imo.

as for armors.. Obsidian and Primeval all look wretched imo as well.

Everything from EotN, the gloves, the armors, the headpieces, etc...although some, do look decent.

but other than that.

black monk fow+chaos gloves
black armor
white armor
15k glads+vabbi
fow in general, only really 3 sets I like
torm shield
voltaic spear dyed fail black (other colors and it's fine)
fail black dye on all of your weapons
and...
ele 1k sunspear/15k sunspear and 15k luxon...ugliest ele sets i've ever seen
^^i could make a level 2 ele from NF, use the SS armor, go to temple of balth and cyber all day. the back is disgusting, and the front is just stupid.

I really don't like the Dragon Gauntlets on any armor. They're great on their own, but they maul the appearance of whatever they're accompanying.

Gotta agree with the Monk FoW, Mo Zing and Chaos Gloves combo.

it's all about personal preference
i wear fow with a dread mask and i like it
but i do like those smooth and thin glasses with my fow too
if you find something overrated it's still because of your personal preference

Seeing all the primeval warriors running around makes me sick along with the Obby monks. I know its a 'status symbol' of sorts but most obby armor is bad imo. specially monk. Its like, show a little bit of female chest but have the rest of it really really simple.

I remember when every Warrior was wearing Platemail. :P I always thought it was ugly. Now it's all about the Primeval, and while it doesn't look that bad, it's just too boring, now that every single Warrior in the game has a set.

Oh, and the Mask of Mo Zing and Dragon Gauntlets, they look awful on both genders of every profession. Stop buying them people.

The gauntlets inparticular, they just don't go with anything and on most professions they just look like huge, oversized, comicly costume parts. I can't count how many Rangers I've seen wearing them that just look totally ridiculous.

Agreed.

I personally love my Dread Mask and think that most of the Obisidian sets are over-priced. I would never dream of talking down someone else's armour set though, if they like it that's great.

I can laugh at them though, from the safety of my screen. (Internet tough-girl).

And Ele Primeval? It's very tasty on a female Ele with the 1k Stormforged skirt. Same with the Ancient top with the 1k Kurzick skirt and the top half of 1k Kurzick with the bottom half of Ancient.

Mmm, tasty female Eles.

I simply love the Ancient Warrior armor, simply because that helmet reminds me of old school Battlestar Galactica pilots.

As for overrated armor, I'd have to say that ele fow looks very plain compared even to some of the 1k ele armor.

But in the end, people buy what they like. I drive a 1st gen Scion xB. 99% of the world will say it's the ugliest car on any given road. I love it.

To be fair. Chaos gloves dont look bad on EVERYONE.
On Mesmers. they look pretty awesome.
