Yeah, I see a guild has a large role in gripping you. I'll see if i can get into a decent one, the one's i've been so far were either generaly idle or full of kids...
Thought i'd also try some professions i haven't bothered to develop yet, but then i'd have to go trough the same campaigns, doing the same missions, killing mobs, it gets boring doing them with henchis only.
Keep posting guys, at the very least you're giving me some good ideas of what to do ingame xD

When the news of GW2 first broke I was one of the "I'm leaving until GW2 comes out" group.
Then I quickly realized what I loved about GW the most: no-subscription fee allows me to play as much or as little as I want and it is still fun. The game still gives me goals & objectives that are rewarding (even silly things like titles or saving up for a minipet) and I can enjoy it very casually without depending on other people's schedules or finding a good group).
I'm playing other games while playing GW (MTG:Online mostly)... until GW2 comes out... but I do miss dedicating most of my time to GW (cause it's not quite the same as before).

Hmmm my friends keep me in Guild Wars, since I run a small guild. Also, I've been vanquishing/mapping/buying new armor for chars..

Well, for the most of it, it's the addiction.
When i get really bored i start new character or play a long forgotten mule of mine, through all campaigns, get at least 1 title maxed for that char, at least 1 elite armor, 4 nice weapon sets and get all skills unlocked for him/her.
For some reason i always come back to gw.
Hi, my name is Sho, and i'm an addict!

Nothing keeps me in guild wars; I come periodically to meet up with people there who I know, but the game itself is no longer fun for me. The forums are great entertainment, though.

The fact that there is nothing out there that compares to Guild Wars. If there was something like Guild Wars that had random drops, full party of customizable heroes, LAN Based, and no kids I would have be gone ages ago. No monthly fees to, sorry old school gamer, I am not about to keep paying a company to rent software.

Titles I guess trying for R6 Koabd (God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals) takes quite a bit of time. Also making lots of money to buy those pointless monthly everlasting tonics

Boredom. I really have nothing else to do, and the excitement level of GW is just a notch above reading a book or watching the same movies over and over again.
Other than that...I really don't know.

Well, in my opinion I don't think guild wars is made like the kind of game you log on to every day for 6 hours a day and expect to keep playing it still having things to do after 3 years. Not that you play that way, But I'm just saying Guild wars is more of a online RPG game. Like a Final Fantasy game, There is a good story, and then once your done with the game usually tons of extra things to keep you busy for a while. But once you done it all you done it all. There is no new content coming your way its over. I see guild wars like a very large Final fantasy game, Where you get to do the Missions with other people if you so choose, and chat and socialize with them in lobby. I think guild Wars is a great game, But It is not a mmorpg. Its fun and interesting more so than a MMORPG but you can get done with the content fast, and then end up doing it all over again. Not that this is a bad thing, For casual players like myself, I will take at least a year to get done with everything once. So Im grateful that guild wars lets me play when ever I want and still get stuff done rather quickly. Its a casual gamers online game, or a Hard core gamers long RPG.
