Ok i think i take the cake , i was with a friend in Great Northern wall he was showin me the ins and outs of PVE and he said lets go get aggro , i said but i dont have a cap sig to get aggro .. then i proceeded to ask about where else i could cap it

Great imagination there...but if you were a noob to PvE and at the Northern Wall, how did you know about the cap sig to begin with?

1. Getting a silver dye and thinking I was leet.
2. Getting a black dye and dying (no pun) with excitement.
3. Making my main char look like a pansy
4. Using minion skills on my dervish thinking the enchants could be placed on allies
5. When I first got the game I spent ages in pre and when a friend asked if I had gone to post searing yet, I said 'What's that?' (this was after about a week of playing)
6. Taking more than a year to finish proph...
7. Using a crap green shortbow on my warrior 'coz it was green.
8. I saw a N/W build on a site that was referred to as 'Meleemancer'.

Thinking this is what MM stood for, I proudly said 'I am a MM!' when looking for parties. I wondered why they asked 'You' arent a very good MM' considering I had no minion spells.

i asked when the next patch is gonna be to introduce flying then i wondered why the game was a ghost town when i was outside.
oh and i submitted a game bug saying that the auction house is gone and i could'nt jump.
then i kept asking people to help me do blacksmithing and crafting and bugged people to show me how to get a mount and chop trees then i wanted to slap myself for how stupid i was although i was extremely dissapointed gw had none of those things =(

It took me 2 years to beat THK. (this is NOT a joke)

my first GvG I thought that repairing my team's catapult by our base would fire on the other team. the second GvG I took the repair kit and ran up the hill (on the gank path) to the edge of the map and dropped it there hoping they wouldn't find it. only problem was that I was one of two monks against a pressure team. they were a little bit mad ...

Right after I started the game 2 years ago, I made a 55 monk and spent ALL of my money on the armor...only the realize that I had no money to buy regular runes and actually make it to the farming spots...and no money to buy a run. Took a few weeks and a random nice person to pull me outta that hole.

As soon as i started the game with my ele in prophecies, everything went like a breeze, good money, good weapons, then after searing, i went to kill some grawls with a hench party, and WOOt i got a BLACK DYE, my first good drop ever, i was so happy, and i thought to my self, hey, i got an ascalon bow, damage 10+ im so leet, lets black dye it and sell it for 100,000 gold, i did, and i tried to sell it, and all i recieved was laughs -.-, besides wasting 5k, but the bow looked good

Appologies , i guess it wasnt Great northern wall .. but it was some failry noob quest in the gam .. havent PVE d in forever i am a PVP player ..

Let's see, uh, thinking melee weapons worked fine without melee skills, and going "damage dealer/support healer paladin" with 5 healing skills, 1 hammer skill, and two capture signets at almost all times. Imagine a warrior with healing seed, back when it was 25 mana. Actually, it came in handy sometimes back when henchies didn't heal essential NPCs.

Although, I always seemed to think mending wamos and full tanks were retards (extremely common at the time). So I could have been a noobier wamo, of which I'm proud. :P

capped [skill]Melandru's Resilience[/skill] and brought it around thinking it was actually worth something. Turns out, it was a waste of a skill slot in [late '05 - early '06] for PvE. Who would have known?

I did use it in running though. It was helpful there :]
