Honestly, for most of us that been playing awhile and have experienced just about everything, there really isn't much else to do besides doing things over and over... I don't know what is going to happen to GW when people start leaving the game...

I think Anet seriously needs to come out with another expansion to keep us around for another 6-12 months, depending on how good it is of course. I have no clue how they plan on keeping everyone busy for another year or two, just makes no sense... since they said there weren't going to be any further campaigns or expansions for GW1. Anet will soon realize that people are going to start leaving in big numbers sooner than they think, probably by end of this summer, and more and more as the year goes by. If they are smart enough, they would have been working on a secret new Expansion or Campaign for GW1, completely not telling a soul... and probably goin to reveal it soon. I know this is just wishful thinking at the moment, but hey, never know, they suprised us once before, why not again? If they know what is best for the game and the players, they should be doin just that. Otherwise, I have no idea how they plan on keeping people from leaving the game. How else could they possibly keep us busy for 2 years? I just don't know...

As of now, I have been logging in acouple times a day, only to realize there is really nothing that I want to do and end up sitting around for 10 minutes or so and log right back out. I guess the game is really going to test our patience and our loyalty by making us completely bored, and forcing us to think of something new to keep us busy and keep us playing.

hm, I have 5 characters working thru the luxon side of factions, 1 character working on the elite skill caps, 1 working on leg.survivor, 2 characters working on prot of elona, 4 characters working on just finishing nightfall, 6 characters at dorks waiting to finish prophecies...7 characters that want armor from eye....3 characters finishing factions...and a few that are working on cartography. etc.....lots to do with so many characters ....I like making characters and then I want to play them....so I keep playing, and playing and playing.......some things DO get old (like I am really tired of the save the turtles mission having done in 9 times this month with 8 characters) but I find that if you mix things up a bit, it gets interesting again. For example, yesterday I tried (unsuccessfully) to kill magni....I helped my guildee vanquish an area of elona, I did a bunch of luxon quests, I played polymuck, etc....I set goals for my characters and when I get them THEN I have the 'what do I do now?" moments, but those are pretty rare still----those character then farm for money for the others who are still trying to get skills, armor, etc....

gotta go---

I haven't done everything I plan to do. Yes, I actually made a checklist:

Ranger:
- Reach at least Rank 8 in Asura Title.
- Vanquish all areas in Cantha.

Mesmer:
- Complete, in NM, the dungeons Arachni's Haunt, Cathedral of Flames and Sepulchre of Dragrimmar.

Elementalist:
- Reach at least Rank 8 in Norn Title.
- Reach Max Rank in Sunspear & Lightbringer Titles.
- Complete Hell's Precipice again to obtain the Deldrimor Talisman.
- Buy the prestige Norn armor.

Warrior:
- Reach at least Rank 8 in Delver Title.

Necromancer:
- Complete EotN/Hero's Handbook with at least ten NM dungeons completed.
- Reach at least Rank 6 in Vanguard Title.
- Buy some sort of prestige armor for this character.

Account Based:
- Reach at least Rank 8 in Kurzick Title.
- Have at least one character beat Rragar's Menagerie.

I play for enjoyment's sake. Usually I do a little ABs, farming, and maybe a FoW run or 2 to help contribute to my FoW funds.

I've mainly just been working on titles. Thanks to Anet, I'm able to take my sweet time in doing so.

If you're not having fun with the game anymore, just take a break. If you're anything like me, you'll be itching to play again within a month or two.

Or just do something that'll keep you interested. Join a new guild. Buy a new armor set. Things like that have always worked for me.

QFT
I'm half-assedly working on a getting a rainbow pheonix mostly.

Sometimes I take advantage of weekend events for kicks.

Other times I start craving AB or RA until I have my fill.

Log in, glance at the empty friends list (because everyone left Gw), troll chat for a bit (I look for US patriots and christian conservatives, they're the really easy ones to anger), sit around, then leave and play Dawn of War.

Actually kind of reminds me of school. Enter school, glance at empty classrooms (because of all the people late/absent), troll the christians (yay history class), learn stuff, then go home and... play Dawn of War.

Vanquishing, and after that i'll have HFFF and money sink titles left. I gues it'll keep me busy for another half of year, though i take breaks every now and then and play other games.

AB, my GvG,/HA friends bailed out long ago, and either helping guildies in PvE or slowly working through the skill hunter titles, one of the few titles I have actually found enjoyable hence don't mind slowly maxing with a cap or two each day.

I also spend a fair wack of time just mucking around and trying new things with builds on the Isle which I quite enjoy.

I play with guildies and farm zaishen keys for no reason other than to stare at when I get stacks of them. Probably going to use them in August if Anet throws in a nice everlasting tonic.
