You can't cap it or anything... so what's the big deal?
There are some perfectly OK QQ threads, but I fail to see the point of this one. Anet did what they had to to nerf a build but make sure it was still viable.

I have no problem with them using any skills from any part of the game. I be happy if they put ritualist, assassins, dervish, and paragons in the underworld just to update it a little bit. I also wished they had changed the builds in the UW after ever campaign was released. Has anyone tried creating builds using only the core skills, doable but something else is always better.

Since you're so into the "CORE" thing, maybe AN should ban every character that isnt a core profession from UW and FoW. Ruh roh, where's your farming now?
Besides, the only thing that nerf did was take out 3-4 groups. Which, yes, does cut back on the amount of ectos you get per run. Boo friggin hoo. You have to do more runs to get what you want now. So sorry for them making you have to work that much harder.

WHY, would you even CARE what skills goes where in the first place? What difference does it make?It's Anet's game, and as long as they fixes the problem it's chill, correct?
I mean, I understand that some hc gamers what GW to be nice and square, but then the game would just die, 'cause there will be so many rules that people will start to make ops to complain/bs/flame about even quit the game 'cause of them.

Not just Assassin, Rit, Derv, and Paragon...............to the OP don't waste your time.............the skill got nerf because of the QQers crying for there Ectos......if 55 took a hit the uproar would be outrageous, but since this Nerf only effected a small number of SF farmers there wasn't an uproar and Anet won't change it back, and the QQers get to smile like they help changed the world, as though this was the most significant thing they have ever done.

Ive stated about 4 times im not bothered about SF. Nerf it to hell for all i care. But when they start bringing in stupid things like this, i dont really think they thought it through. SF is 1 build that was affected by this. There a so many more builds that now fail as a result.
Now this is a long shot, but if they want to bring in skills from other campaigns, fair enough but i think drops should be incribable. And i think it owuld be a lot better if Dervish skills and Paragon skills and all the other classes had a few core skills. And hell that would open up maybe having new mobs in UW, but it just seems like a cheap way to deal with things IMO.
If they feel the need to update Underworld to make it fit in with the modern skill bar, they they should up date it to correspond with the newer campaigns. Instead of just throwing things all over the place. Thats another argument though i guess.
And i think somebody has said somewhere, or just common sense tells you that campaigns are supposed to have skills linked only to that campaign.

Dont be moronic please, i have stated numerous times i'm not here for the solo farm or asking anything to be reverted. I've just said that something annoys me. I'm not like OMGZZZOORERDSSFSDSD. Ectos are worthless so i see them as a waste of time in game now.

ANet can do as they wish with their game. They buffed SF to unreasonable levels, and then nerfed it appropriately.
Who cares that they put in factions skills to compensate for it? If you're farming in UW (a core area) with a factions character, alright then.
It's the same as adding Kephet Marrowfeast to the desert of Dying Nightmares with faster Rend cast.
The game adapts as power imbalances surface. It's the way things should be.
Agree with the Spirit of the Law, if you will.

Again you just proved my theory of people not seeing through the Shadow form nerf.
For the 6th time, I am for a shadow form nerf. I think solo farming should stay outside of elite areas, that will never happen but it's just something i think. They didn't nerf SF appropriately either. They should have the duration at 15 or 17 seconds. But they did 3 unnecessary changes that could have been sorted so simply with 1. But talking about shadow form is OFF TOPIC.
At no point did i say "my farm got nerfed im gonna whine"
I don't solo farm. It's not hard to understand. if you want to turn this into a personal slander match then fine. but the only thing pathetic here is people posting without even having an opinion on the matter

Godmode shouldn't exist anyway. Whether or not it's being farmed, godmode should exist in no game.

Why? because the topic is, dumb. WHY do you even care what skills goes where? It's Anet's game and they do what they think is apporiate to fix the problems. It doesn't matter if some skill just "happen" to be in a core area, as long as they will solve the problem, it's fine.

Ok i admit that through all this rambling it is hard to realize the point of the topic.
Now, this discussion should be about Core skills and campaign specific skills. And if Campaign specific skills should be in Core places. As i already stated, i'm well aware that discussing a matter isn't changing it.. But wheres the harm in doing so?
I have said multiple times that this has nothing to do with Shadow Form being nerfed. If you want to talk about the topic, then do so. Feel free to express your opinion. But get it out of your heads that this is about farming or shadow form
