I was talking to a guy earlier in temple of balth ID1 spamming, need GM my friend got banned

he then said come back in an hour and i have 3 things that they will want

i told him to quit spamming and go QQ on forums xD

I stand corrected then, I apologize. However, I would like to point out that "Do X or we will/will not Y" is blackmail in a sense.

Blackmail is the crime of threatening to reveal substantially true information about a person to the public, a family member, or associates unless a demand made upon the victim is met. This information is usually of an embarrassing and/or socially damaging nature.

I understand what you are saying i really do but we are not going to give out the information that we have out to the public if they don't unban us. We only did this clone demonstration to get the attention of the guildwars staff not to make them angry that is why our actions where not malicious. we just feel that if we are going to help them fix in game problems we should be able to play the game agin from our accounts i think thats fare

Sorry, your trick has already been reported by Pablo. In fact, it's seen in a thread that you posted in amazingly enough. One where you suggest that you have done more than what he posted.

well bro, all i gotta say is, any attention you wanted out of this you're getting, but it's only going to be from the community, any moderator attention you get is sure to become negative, as it will be seen as a game exploit and a way to avoid a ban that was already put on another account, and will likely end up with your IP being banned.

Ip bans are the least of my worry's our accounts have been band for some time now. we have played other games and such and after about 2 months now we decided that we wanted to play again so we came in game hopein that certain things would be fixed by Anet. the status on these things is not to be discussed, but we did notice some new and very serious issues that the client and server have we will not share these things with any one other then Anet so don't ask. and we will not use these things in a harmful way we do not want to cause any more problems. we do however want these things to be fixed in return for showing them the problems that others can use to inhibit others game play we only ask that we have our original accounts reinstated. if this is not a fare compromise then i dont know what is but we feel that if we are going to help a game we should be playing it no?

You are causing more problems by keeping the information to yourself.

No.

You should give that information to them freely if you are so concerned about others being able to inhibit gameplay.

Your accounts that are banned should be outright deleted due to the blackmail and ban circumvention.
