Hasn't the Guru PvP tournament shown that there are still people interested and more people coming into PvP (from PvE)? Or is it just that there are too many people leaving to compensate for the newbies?

i mean arena net not caring. sure many players care (obviously, see all the discussions), even PvE players care that weren't involved in the mAT..it's a shame that arena net is not doing more out of this.

but the serious PvP community is caring less, it's good that more people are getting into PvP, i hope they'll be interested enough for GW2 to make it better from the start, but for GW1 i gave up most hopes. :P

What are you going to do? Take away rawr's gold cape for the month...? O WAIT! Who really gives a shit it already happened and there will be another mAT next month.

Please quit Le bitching.

ADDED: The weekend event did not have a big part in the lag this weekend as the lag was happening to people in pve as well. I would be in HB and have a lag spike while friends in DoA would have the spike at the same time. yes having a double HB weekend at the same time as the mAT was not bright thinking it was not the cause of the lag.

Anet doesn't even need to do anything; just some kind of recognition that the mAT was completely f'ed over would suffice.

what? you posted a problem with GW, and no insta-flame?

Grumble grumble.....

If it was cash prize, I'd say they are obligated to do something about it. But since it isn't, Welcome to Guild Wars.

Put yourself in the people who lagged out in the mAT's shoes. You got pissed off for lagging in a daily AT. How do you think you'd feel if you lost the monthly because of lag? Think about it.

Anyways, I agree with Lemming. All they have to do is admit the mAT was screwed up because of their server problems. But, they won't do that.

The lags made me grateful that I'm not a serious pvp-er. I would demolosh everything in a 2 meter vicinity if that happened to me.

A.net should have mentioned , apologized and at least said(read lie) that the next mAT will be better , but this is A.net ...

That might be true - if we paid a monthly fee. But since we don't, it would be more logical for Anet not to do a damn thing.

You don't have to agree with the actions of ANet to enjoy playing Guild Wars. Also, we supported their game when we bought the game, we're not supporting it by playing it.

The fact that players still log in to play is actually a good enough reason for arena net to want to care. unless they are trying to clear their server.

you work all month collectivley as a guild to accumilate the qualifier points needed to enter the monthly tournament , comparing this to a 'pve mission' which probably takes 3 hours tops is all out retarded ... I dont see why people here insist on making everything a 'pvp vs pve' issue - if u clearly know nothing about the subject , think we want to hear your opinion ?

That is one of the stupidest analogies I've ever heard. They do do replays in major sporting events if its not safe for the players or will irrepairably damage the field by continuing to play. Same thing happens if an entire team cannot show up for reasons that are by no means their fault.
