I guess you either dont play a monk, or that you dont listen to your team mates either.
And I couldnt care if you dont want me in your group cos I wouldnt even join it in the first place lol.
If the leader had bothered to read party chat before pressing enter battle, there would have been no problem. I can be angry for being ignored if I like.

NM PvE is around 70% attitude and 30% skill/builds.
The people that overreact - if they die or if there's a near wipe or accidental overragro or teammates with bad bars - are the primary reason why pugs fail 90% of the time.

Here's another. There are days when I can be an ass back, here's one. All I gotta say that I LOVE when people don't bother reading your spam.
I teamed up with another guy and we started to make our own group, ursan. At one point we get a warrior, and when I ask which rank he is... (BTW he's sporting Asuran R1)
EDIT: Got the convo, well part of. I did ask him a couple times for his rank but he never replied until now.

Actually this is Guild Wars pve, that monk build would have worked, might not have been as effective, but it would have worked, as again it's Guild Wars PvE and a person with no limbs could do it.

I am quite the veteran myself, and i do agree with sonya that you didn't handle the situation very well, keep a cool head, and you will be respected.

Keep to the topic & share the stories. Lets not turn this into a discussion of whether 12 year olds or such are immature or not. Some are, some aren't & some adults act 12, some don't. End of that discussion.

You agree with this 12 year old?
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...&postcount=939
lol.
But its funny. Red Sonya likes to pug, I dont. I will say whatever I want to people that attemt to pug and fail at it and only make my game more difficult then it would be with H/H. Sonya takes the side of the failure pugs that she enjoys playing with.
I could have handled the situation in two ways:
1) Rage quit
2) Rage quit and explain why
I chose number two, and I didnt really have to say politely 'Sorry oh glorious leader sir, but I requested that you change your bad hero monk for mhenlo because your hero had a very bad bar that wouldnt keep us alive through this mission. I dont want to waste the next 10-20 minutes of my game losing because you didnt listen to my request. Goodbye and have a nice day'.

Tbh.
There can be times I rage.
But not alot, because I dont Pug.
And when I do, it normally just makes me laugh, at how stupid they are.
Then they rage, if one little thing goes wrong.
other people /fail.

I make it a point to be a pleasant monk . I never rage quit unless I'm in a team with people who aren't pleasant to play with, either they don't talk at all (and play badly) or leeroy and then blame me, or just plain insult me. I never quit just because someone dies, because I think there's always a chance. Only leave on a total wipe, me, and I even sometimes go back to try again with the same team :P

Dude, I've seen worse (Saw a build yesterday centered around Healing Breeze and Mending... and that was an improvement on the previous build).
Generaly, if someone has a build problem, I try to politely offer suggestions. However, I've also learned, when PUGging, always ask the Monk to ping their build. Ran into too many smite monks. I don't care if you want to run smite, but please tell me, so I can take 2 healers.

Yes, I did make a suggestion, I said take mhenlo. I actually remember now that I did say 'If you dont drop your hero monk for Mhenlo I'm leaving'.
