**just monk. Warriors are switched out pretty frequently for Dervishes, and sometimes even assassins for dedicated splits.

Unless you are planning on farming a lot to get your pve-toon perfect gear, stick to a pvp character... I always hate people that play pvp with a pve character and have like 507 hp, a sundering weapon and a -5/20% shield... ( " omg perfect mod, yes? " )

Agreed, trying to find stuff in PvE is a waste of time... just farm Zaishen Elite and do some RA and AB until you can get the mods you want... it'll only take you a couple of days or so to complete a build on one character from scratch. Then you can use that character to get balth faction to build the rest.

Gay Pride, ftw
Also, I play an Ass, yet I don't like Narutard. You're thinking of a Shadow Stepper. Not Ass'

i think monks are more wanted than warriors in both. look at any town in pve: "GLF 2 MONKS!" look at nearly every build in pvp "GLF 2 (or 3) MONKS!...YO!"(i added the yo cause its cool...yo)

...my favorite class is assassin, yet i dont watch naruto. So i guess your stupid stereotype is incorrect.

i can just say you're a typical not so bright american going around stereotyping every player base on appearance

Shadow Steppers are "I want to be a Ninja!" not a Narutard.

PvP and experience go hand in hand. It all comes down to which ever class you are most comfortable with.

Starting from scratch, I would try playing all the classes and decide which one works best for you in particular. The comments in this thread should have given you a basic idea of what each class has to offer but whether or not each one is suited for your play style is up to you. Some people suck at monking, some people suck at shutdown and so on. The problem is very few of these people realize how bad they suck at it so they keep on thinking they don't.

Most importantly realize that each class has a contribution to every map whether you are talking RA,AB,GvG, etc. PvP experience is a long road, with a lot of biotches to step over. Learn to accept constructive criticism, but ignore the "I pwnzd your face cuz Im so 1337's", laugh at the trash talkers and remember opinions are like a-holes, everyone has one, but yours is the only one you need to worry about.

Looks accurate but I would say, in PvE, this is the order I see it:

1. Warrior
2. Monk
3. Elementalist
4. Necro
5. Ranger
6. Assassin
7. Dervish
8. Paragon
9. Mesmer
10. Ritualist

Being very optmistic I could say Paragons are more popular than Dervishes... But certainly not more than Assassins. So yes they would come 8th or at best 7th...

Monk is definitely the most popular class in PvP.
