I kinda agree. There's way fewer assassins, and as long as you don't wear the super spiky armor and know how to play a sin it's pretty sweet.
I'm thinking of starting one.

I have played for almost 3 years.....up until about 2 months ago I did NOT have a warrior. I dont like melee, I dont like the ughhhhhly choices which were given so I never made one.
When nightfall came out I played for a while, and then decided to start looking at other classes----I checked out the warrior this time and ONE of the female choices actually looked ok....so I FINALLY made one....she has made it to the bone palace in nf and amnoon in tyria, and is lost in the kurzick forest now---

I have one. Used to play her a lot, but she shared time with my monk. For more than a year its been almost always my monk. I think the poll will be slightly skewed, as so many of us have most or all classes, but play one more regularly.

Wow, everything you've said here is completely true. QFT
After playing for at least two years, you're bound to have a warrior at some point. Still got mine, was my third character. Don't play him much though, but I like playing a warrior in PvP.

Have been playing for 34 months. My top 3 toons are: Ele, Necro and Ranger. I also have a Paragon and Monk which I play less. That's it. Never deleted a toon. I'm creating a Warrior soon though.
ps. I agree with having 1 of each profession for education. But I only PvE so that's not critical.

In my opinion dervs are similar to wars. It depends what u like. They both own, both can tank, and in general, both rock. I have one lvl 20 derv, one lvl 20 war, and a lvl 7 warrior (WOOT!).

Yes I have a Warrior, but I don't play him anymore since stances suck big time. There was a time where a Stance Warrior kicked serious butt. Now days any Dervish or Assassin can mop them up. Paragons in Groups can out Fight Warriors in Groups any day of the week.
Yeah... Warriors suck now.

I have had a warrior since i got the game about 3 months after release. I took a break from him for a little while to play an ele, and also a monk, but all in all my tank is my favorite class and is the character that i title hunt on. BTW Ursan Forever...

Pretty sure if you have to stance tank, or tank of any kind, you're bad.
Also, Paragons have FAR less dps than a Warrior. They reason they're good is because of their SY! and TNTF spam. That is all.

I had a warrior. I got him to level 16 then deleted him almost a year ago. I just can't get into their style of play.

QFT. I have one warrior, can run either hammer or sword on him, working on axe. one ele, two rangers (only because my gf started one, can't really get rid of it), and a monk.

It seems to me that everyone plays a warrior.

Warriors are actually very unique in the universe of GW if you think about it.
-What other profession has armor as intimidating and glamorous as warriors?
-They have the most armor sets
-Axes, Swords, and Hammers.. they're the eye candy of any RPG
-Warriors are also the first profession to utilize adrenaline. (By the time NF was released, most players already had warriors)

Played for three years and had three different warriors, deleted each one after less than two months.
I just find them boring.

warriors do crap damage compared to a lot of other classes.... pretty much all of them except mesmer, but that's not what mesmer is for.
