Smiters Boon -> WHAT?

I know Izzy likes to sometimes overnerf to remove something temporarilly or permanently from the meta, but this is just overboard. Hopefully a sign that it's just a temporary MAT adjustment.

This hasn't hit in the U.S., yet. (Not posted on the official GW page.)

If its for real, they're still tweaking Glimmering Mark, aren't they? lol

And I love the part about "• Updated the AI for Heroes and henchmen to fix an issue that caused them to occasionally become confused and run in circles." It was funny to see them do that, even when it sucked because you needed them to do something.

If they really fixed the AI, then great!

Yay, hero AI fixes!

"Updated the AI for Heroes and henchmen to fix an issue that caused them to occasionally become confused and run in circles"

That part actually made me kinda laugh. Not sure if it was the way it was said or maybe it's because I'm tired, but still...lol.

Izzy said he wanted Smiter's Boon out of the game.

Now it is.

Smiters Boon GTFO LMAO HAHAHAHAHA

I hope that's real there, I just may return to TA if that's true.

OH NOES Hero Smite GvG teams and triple Smite RaO TAers are dead, what a shame. At least I'll be able to stop killing kittens for a while, you see I kill a kitten everytime someone runs a OP gimmick and thinks they are "leet" been going through ALOT of kittens as of late.

THAT makes me very happy.
I was getting tired of Koss dragging the mobs back into the casters..

is this a joke?
i can't find anything on the wiki or website and seriously... this skillbalance = epic fail
instead of ruining skills he should listen to the players and do something about skills that seriously need some buffing e.g. [wastrel's collapse]
oh my heroes ain't gonna run in circles anymore? good cuz my dunkoro took 20 times the try to remove a hex from me cuz he constantly aborted his own spell with it

but seriously
anet, listen to the players, fix skills that need it

Yes, yes it is. As smiter's boon goes, so does the entire smiting line. Sounds like there's going to be a new TA monk meta.

This isn't meant to be a major update. Those are every month. This is just a few small fixes.

It's better to have lots of useless skills that don't hurt the game, than to buff everything to being a problem. Please stop asking for pointless buffs.

I assume this was the problem with Smiters Boon, if so, good job Izzy.

Well done, Izzy. Just lol'd ridiculously hard at work and now I'm gonna get bitched at. DAMN YOU IZZY!!!

Seriously, although I love this Smiter's Boon nerf, how about some other skills, such as Wastrel's Collapse as just suggested? So much more that can be done here.

BTW I'm a little removed from TA/HA these days, so I'll ask here: why reduce Glowing Ice and none of the other energy gaining skills? Perma-snares?

Second edit: NVM, answered my own question. Me/E snares need the energy. Ignore

Haha, yeah the Heroes are pretty bad, mine did the same thing with another 5e spell ended up raping his whole damn energy bar because of it.
