People are elitists and thats not gonna change. GW currently isnt very welcoming to newbs.

He's talking to the forum in general, not to a specific group. That's a blanket statement which is accusatory. If he didn't mean to then he should have been more precise with his rant. While I agree there is far too much flaming and elitism, losing your cool and posting a rant only adds to the problem...and that's a fact.
