Not too sure about Ele primaries: now you're forced to spec 8 points into a crappy attribute for it to be as effective as before. You'll hardly ever run 10 energy storage for it to count as a buff.
(of course we're talking about PvP, in PvE I guess it counts as a buff since everyone probably slaps 12+1 points in it)

Ok, my turn to ask a question!
How are heroes with the new UA? I always noticed that when they went to rebirth, they'd move in closer than the edge of aggro range so I'm thinking the same for UA. Y/N?

Fire eles have about 730 easy ways to set a foe on fire within their primary skill line. Water eles have a large number of hexes in their primary skill line. Air eles can draw on any attacking foe, though this is chancier and requires better timing than is asked of the fire or water eles. Earth eles have two disfunctional ways to cause weakness within their primary skill line. Glowstone -- and, to some extent, Shock Arrow -- are still not on an equal footing with Glowing Gaze and Glowing Ice. Meh.

Best update I've seen in a long time. Anyone saying UA wasn't exploited knows that isn't true. Anet never meant for people to be able to teleport other people across the map.

Ok, I'll have to try it out later because I always hated how I would have to flag Oggy within the aggro circle (not at the edge like players would) to get him to rebirth. Thanks.

Depends, now that i has useful effect it can be considered "not so crappy". 7+1 is easy to afford and gives you nice att split possibilities, 9+1 is common enough to consider this buff.

Not mentioned in the OP but I am happy they fixed Master of Magic to work with all ele skills not just spells. Might even consider playing around with this one again.

They balanced Glowing Ice very nicely if anyone else noticed that out of all the PvE-drama.

It's a real shame about the UA nerf. Everyone agrees that it had to be nerfed, but this is overkill. As mentioned before, it should be changed to radar or maybe spirit range because as it is now it's nearly completely useless.

Think you're the only one who noticed until now - you're absolutely right!
I, for one, think it's a good update, the Ghost Runner was an exploit and we all knew it as such, admit it!
The UA didn't make sense the way it was, and let's face it, with all the training the Perma's have had in the last couple of weeks, the good ones rarely die anyway.
Not a huge problem anyway: sin dies, everyone runs and suicide on the first mob - try again! Of course this doesn't work if you have a crappy Perma that dies multiple times ,- but then again, you're supposed to have a hard time if you pug with noobs!

Nice to hopefully see me/e's out of the scene a bit, annoying little things.
Could someone explain what ghost running was? Something to do with completing FoW or what?

They made no changes to Thommis whatseoever. He still follows the permasin to the corner and they casters can still nuke him and all of his cronies to death and loot the chest.
The biggest problems now are that UA can't res the sin and the rife displacement issues. /stuck is not a solution, it's a cheap workaround. Budget server usage is to blame.
I suggest removing body-blocking and relic running until it's fixed.

Anet lets us have a moment of fun then snatches it away again. It's funny hundreds moaned at Ursan yet it took them ages to nerf it, yet we find something enjoyable that nobody moans at and it is gone in an instant.
