The main reason for people to stick with FA it's because it's faster most of the time.
Even if you increase rwards in JQ, people prefer to play many matches of 10..20 min than one of 20..40.

Well, nice calculation but it's based on you playing the opposite team of your guild/alliance. There are 2 problems there.
1) if people start playing JQ more than this wont happen anymore and you will get similar waiting times. As stated it certainly isn't always that long at FA anyway.
2) If it is your buddies playing on the other side, it would be a lot smarter to have one of the teams resigning constantly because then you win instantly and that saves a lot of time. Calculate that!

I usually play Aspenwood but Jade Quarry tends to give better rewards. The real problem of the Jade Quarry is not the lack of rewards but the lack of players. It can take hours to get in, and if you take that into account in your measurement then the reward is not so good...

when players in AB click enter, part of those groups will be send to fight on Jade Quarry or Aspenwood map.
problem solved :P might even solve a little of the server wait problem

Just imagine - AB is a game mode where you enter as part of a team.
If the whole team gets transported to Aspy - you basically made up what should be a random team of 8 with 2 not so random teams of 4.
The whole dynamic of the battle changes that way.
Unless of course you add the JQ map to the AB pool of maps. Then at least the map sees some play and revives the whole thing.

errrrr, its not about getting the faction, its about getting to play at those map on a regular basis. at lease for me, i am trying to look for solution to that.

How bout this, whoever has more jade at the end of 5 minutes wins 800 faction? If they are tied or noone has scored sudden death, next successful jade wins.
edit: and get rid of that stupid movie at the end...

and yes that movie at the end pisses me off.
I just hope anet brings JQ back some how cause its such a shame seeing a fun map (i think its fun) not being played.

Said this once before, guess ill say it again. JQ alrdy rewards more than FA, a victory at JQ nets something like 950 total K/L faction PLUS and additional 40 faction per slab ur team has collected (400 faction if ur team wins) and whatever you earn thru killing players and NPCs on the other team (which is usually 50+) so on average you will earn 1000 K/L faction per game.
Now each game is the 1st team to 10 Jade slabs wins OR the team with the most Jade after 15 mins wins, if both teams are tied at 15 mins then its the next team to score a Jade slab pt that wins. However, most of the time thru my experiences at JQ the games only last somewhere around 8 mins till victory (usually my side cuz i know what im doing and not mapping).
Now to get to my main point. The problem with JQ has nothing to do with the map in itself or the rewards cuz the map is VERY balanced for each side and i just finished discussing the rewards. The key issue with JQ is its lack of players and the players mentality. For some odd reason ppl would rather do FA instead of JQ, i dont really have that good an idea as to why but they do. Anyways, thats my minor rant bout JQ.

Having never played either FA or JQ until this weekend I found both to be a lot more fun than I was expecting. And in fact, I preferred JQ. It was more hectic and less restrained. You have to think more and be more aware...or so it seemed.
I found both very easy to understand after the first go. Maybe finding JQ easier to work out initially then FA to be fair.
It's a shame they both aren't played more. Maybe if there was a dude in your GH who offered a ride right there like with AB, for those lazy peeps who don't wanna jump around. Once it's opened, you can go whenever you like kinda thing. Maybe offering some other kind of reward for doing it would be good too. A few amber or Jade as well as faction.
I'm looking forward to playing both more this weekend and will probably favor JQ. And I hope more people stick with playing them afterwards so I can too

anyways, i think FA is better for balth faction simply because of the amount of kills that are scored. stuff dies in FA...a lot. big battles are generally concentrated to three areas of the map, whereas JQ mostly consists of small skirmishes or honorable 1v1s because of the layout.
at FA, my balth faction gain is close to my kurz faction gain (can sometimes get a zkey and donate 5k kurz at the same time), and at JQ...my balth faction is miles behind. for example, me and a guildie played JQ until we could donate, and we both only had 2000-2500 balth faction at that time.
however, JQ is probably better for lux/kurz faction because you don't have to wait the full 10 minute duration for a win (on the kurz side) like in FA.
