I've seen a lot of strange people, but it's too early for me to really think of most of them. Though during the last Halloween event, I was taking a lot of screenshots, and posing in the pictures with my pumpkin hat and the taunt emote, etc. One guy immediately thought I was trying to taunt other players, even though the district was mostly empty, and I was doing this in mostly isolated areas without many people around. He started constantly sending messages about how I don't deserve to be playing the game, etc, and was following me around trying to taunt back at me, although I couldn't even see him because of the position of the camera I was using to take the screenshots..

The sad thing is, he put me on his ignore list right away, so I couldn't even explain what was going on. So I guess he was just trying to protect other players, but he just looked like such a jackass. Because taunting the lighthouse, deserves a ban?

When playing my Mesmer in AB:

Me: Yes.
Random Wammo Whisper: Will you be my online GF?
Me: That's pretty sad.

When playing my Ele in RA:

Random Whisper: Yeah, but Tigers Fury is a great skill for W/R
Me: ?!?
Random Whisper: It increases your attack speed!
Me: I think you're whispering the wrong person.

After retiring from top GvG I decided to just join some guild to be social, however som peoples' stupidity is just too much, thus I'm currently guildless.

This new guildmate of mine challenged me to a 1v1 his warrior vs my ranger. Generally, I ran a crip shot build.

I crippshot him with oison and keep moving away distracting heal sig.
Him: stop running please.
Me: I'm a ranger I dont intend on letting you hit me.
He dies from the degen.
Him: Comon again and dont run this time.
Me: No thanks you are a warrior, of course you will win if I stand still. If you want I could play another proff that you prefer to face..
Him: ok, can you do mesmer?
Me: ok one sec.
Crippling anguish, left the guild after another 5 mins of complains.

I was handing out random greens in Spamadan (for free, of course, I do that regularly to free up some storage and it just feels so wrong to merch greens) when some warrior started to whisper me very aggressive insults ('ur a piece of sh*t' and other similar utterances). I very politely asked why he was talking to me like that. He answered with a couple of more insults, then /ignored me. It was a total 'huh?' moment, since he hadn't asked any of my greens nor been denied one in trade. Maybe he was whispering the wrong person, or then possibly he might have been a trader upset by my dumping of greens (although those are usually eager to take the freebies and sell them for profit).

My derv is bald as well, and my guildies find it very amusing. So when I'm afk in the guild hall, they make new female pvp eles and take pics of them doing the /drums emote on my head. I think I have 20+ pictures of that, lol.

on topic: I like to pm random people and say stuff like "If you put their bodies in the freezer the cops will never know!" "OMG wrong person!" hehehe...stuff like that

I am a guy, but I have some female characters. I recall a discussion with some random guy in one of the outposts who tried hitting on me when I was playing my female necro. After a number of ridiculous attempts at flirting with me I informed him that I was actually a man.

Me: Sorry to break it to you, but I'm a guy and I'm not interested.
Him: WTF!!! What kinda homo guy plays a girl?
Me: I just chose a female character to create for my necro. Nothing more than that.
Him: Dude, you're so gay. You are in denial. Your'e such a closet homosexual it's not even funny.
Me: Ummmm...whatever dude. (Just ignoring him now)

And he continues to ramble on about the issue. I love the internet, but sometimes it really can bring out the worst in people. Other times it just brings out the stupid people.

Lol a weird one was the last day, when I was wandering around LA english1 Europe, suddendly a female monk (I was using my male warrior) starts asking me to marry her (him prolly rofl). I was like: uh, no thx. All this in public chat, so another guy joined the conversation, and started laughing. The female monk went nuts, he started shouting at him RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO off and all xD I was laughing as well and she started calling me sweety. Zomg, was funny though xD

I had a guy in Kamadan asking for female slaves once. Curious as to what he wanted I whispered him and went along with him and eventually he ended up asking me to do a roleplay for beastiality or incest with him. I left at that point.
