My 15-22 damage 15^50 uncustomized sword still does more damage. You can't even do basic math. There are plenty of reasons not to customize your weapon, I'm not going to list them all. The additional 3/4 damage per hit is negligible outside PvP. But the general intelligence on this forum doesn't seem to go above "ZOMG, more damage, your bad.", so I'm not even going to bother... ZOMG iz bad!

yes BUT!
15 + (15*0.2) = 18
22 + (22*0.2) = 26.4
which is a white, customised sword with the same skin as your 15^50. Also note that the 20% damage bonus ALWAYS applies and not just when your health is above 50% => Conclusion: Buying 15^50 stuff and not customizing is stupid

First of all its obvius you do simple maths because you dont multiplie them by 1,15 or 1,20 instead you add 0,15 and 0,20
WEll what about having both costumize+max+15^50
35/100=0,35
15*1,35=20,25
22*1,35=29,7
20,25-17,25=3
29,7-25,3=4,4
3+4,4=7,4
7,4/2=3,7
WEll we see that the difference is alot on sword.
BUT THE BONUS WILL APLY ON SKILLS!(Im not sure but they should)

I don't do PVP, so customising feels like a waste most of the time. Sure it would make things easier for me, but then if I ever decide to get rid of the weapon (which happens often) then it's worthless.

Sigh... I was trying to keep it as simple as possible since the person fails even at basic math. GJ idiot.

I customise. More damage is nice. If I plan to sell something, I probably won't be using it myself at all, because if it was better than what I already had then selling it would just be a downgrade.

While calling everyone Idiot: Why don't you use a white customised weapon instead of a not-customized 15^50 then? Not doing so would clearly be idiot too

Bad warrior, bad bad bad XD
Learn to play the game.
I customise everything except for my caster weps.
My hero warriors have customised kanaxais weps, that makes them 20% better then a nub warrior with uncustomised weps lol.

This is yet another (after intelligence of some) reason why heroway > pugs:
Heroes with customozed weapons >> pug noobs who have "plenty of reasons not to customize their weapon".
... those who refuse to customize their weapons they should be doing damage with are often the same players who spec only 9 in their weapon mastery and do pathetic damage (but they put 12 in healing for the breeeeze), don't bother to do their Tyrian attribute quests (170 or 200 - almost no difference, duh) or happen to wear a headgear from Ascalon (and randomly take 250 damage).
Just generally bad at the game.
They should add quest in pre-searing to teach new players of the benefits of customizing, many don't even know of such a possibility!

If you don't customize, you're not being as effective as you could be. That's not really arguable.
It's up to you to determine whether you want to be as effective as possible or not.

I usually use the BMP weapons, and they are already costumized soo...
I don't costumize rare weapons thought, I usually resell em when I get bored so doing so would be pointless...

They should make customization much more interesting, by making all weapons and offhands customizable with extras that benefit the user depending on attribute of the item.
If customization is better, more items re removed from the market and more will get sold.

Not customizing = stupid.
That's always true for warriors, rangers, assassins, dervishes and paragons.
Casters weapons are the same, you shouldn't be attacking with your shit looking caster elesword anyway.
Even if the damage bonus was 1% (wich is not) everyone should customize.
As said above, that's one of the reasons wich make me pick heroes/henchmen.
And people posting their leet uncustomized weapons in the screen forum are quite pathetic.

I customize the weapons for my Warrior and Ranger and Paragon that I use often.
Customizing Caster weapons at the moment doe not make any sense.
They should get another bonus from customizing , like +3 Energy or +5% HCT......

I customized all my warriors weps, since he gets a ton of play time and I wanted to lock them down. I haven't customized for my ranger yet as I dont play him enough.

This seems to be a holier-than-thou arguemment
while customising has its merit, it often goes along the lines of "Well I dont NEED expensive weapons, so I do"
bleh, I often dont due to fact I play casters, but hey
