Where do you place your elite?
Maybe it's just me, but I like to have my elite in the first slot. Unless it's some assassin build where the elite is part of the chain or a farming build that requires a specific casting order.
So who's as delirious as me?
EDIT: Wrong section, damn PS3 browser. Any chances of a mod moving it to riverside inn?

In slot 1 or 2 depending on what class and if I play sin it is either in the middle of the chain or at the start.

The shorter way to say it, and my answer, is that it depends on the Elite.
The only slot it will never be in is slot 8, because that's my rez slot.

Ele,slot 3-4 usually depending on the elite.
War slot 2.
Monk slot 2.
Sin where ever its needed for the chain-if it isnt a attack usually 1 or 6-7.
Mes usually slot 3(no reason, just always had it there).
Derv slot 3.
Ranger slot 1 usually.
Rit slot 1 or slot 6.
Para slot 7.
Necro really depends, since i run utility bars it could be any where from 1 to 7.

Depends on how often I use it, if I use it every other skill then near the beginnin. If its a fire and forget then further back.

Depends on the Elite and how it fits into my build.
Normally I have a set up something like the following:
[Rez][Utility/Stance][Skills 3-8 in Casting/Chaining Order]

If it's part of a skill chaining, where it goes in the chain. Otherwise, slot#1 if it's the first skill i'll use while attacking. If it's a skill that i don't want to use too often of use by accident usually slot #4 or #5 which are macroed to my mouse buttons, which makes them easily accessible but less likely to be used in case i hit the wrong key (small laptop keyboard and big fingers...). Moderately used elite skills which won't cause problems will usually go to slots #2 or #3. Finally #7 if it's something like HB that don't need to be applied often and has an effect that lasts long.

Usually it just has to do with the type of skill it is.
When I make my skill bars, I always place my attack skills on the left side, my support skills on the right, usually with the 8th slot reserved for a resurrection skill. Normally, both go from left to right according to how strong they are as a skill. That being the case, I suppose my Elites usually go to about the 4th slot if they're an attack skill, and the 7th slot if they're a support skill.

Sin: Skill chain
Mesmer, Monk, Ranger: Ints/prep/Big heals are in 1. In rangers case elite arrow attacks are in 2
Rit: Usually in 7 since her leet is a spirit, otherwise its 2
Derv: Mines in 6 since I run the conjure + wounding build :P

Yup, pretty much got it covered..
Although before UA nerf, I did have that in the #8 slot cause that was my rez.
It's a pet peeve of mine when people have their rez not in slot 8. Or when its really unorganized. I don't get having stuff like Fire Attunement in slot 3... unless its a farming build..

I can not have it any place besides 3. Even if it is a specific casting order, i will put it at number 3.

Depends on the skill. Currently with Dragon Slash it's at 4, since it's usually not the first skill I use.
