In our prime, we had too many people wanting to join, there was constantly something happening and guild chat was more like Kamadan. Like I said we are still at 80+ but also like Horus mentioned, the percentage online at once is much lower and not as often.

Wasn't there meant to be a team dedicated to GW1 content between now and GW2?

I have been reading through this whole thread. I don't post much, but felt compelled to write.

Let me start by saying that I'm a mature gamer (34 yrs young), so I don't get vast amounts of time to spend towards gaming. I'm married with kids, so I usually only get maybe an hour or so to myself everyday to play. Over the last 3 yrs I have managed to finish Prophecies only. Recently I went ahead and bought all the other parts (Factions, Nightfall, EOTN). It opened up a whole new gaming experience. I never run out of things to do in the game. At the rate I'm going I might actually finish Factions by the time I retire.

I guess it boils down to play time and play style. If you are the type to play for countless hours and have that urge to get to the endgame as quickly as possible, then I can see how the game is boring now.

Maybe try playing another game for awhile. I also run a Team Fortress 2 community and server. Between splitting my time with that and a few other games I never get 'bored' with anything.

I have noticed a definite lack of people in some areas of the game recently which makes it hard to complete some missions and such. Thank goodness for Heroes!!

I was trying to figure out a way where active people, who plan on playing for sometime, could get together and create active communities to help each other out.

Anyway, good luck out there. I hope it all works out for you.
