There's no "delay" to the HoM update, as it wasn't scheduled for this month anyway.

Well, you'll still have it for when the HoM update DOES come.

If titles are to be account-wide, I might get to work on my survivor ranger and (dear me) LDoA mesmer in pre.

There has not been an announced date for the HoM update; you can see that right there on the first page, and in the dev update.

We are not able to announce a specific date at which these changes will be released, but we're explaining them now so that players can choose their play patterns accordingly.

They just announced that there would be an update in August, and more recently, that there will be one tomorrow.

Well can i ask a small favor Regena, maybe a weeks notice of when the real HoM update is coming out. That way we don't get over hyped about an update similar to this one. Also I do have two small questions:
Will I need to take my perma pre LDoA to the HoM to display that statue, or will I be able to display it on one of my post characters?
And there are 12 different skins of torment weapons, unlike the 11 skins of destoryer (there 2 different bow skin). If you wanted to put all weapons into hall, will you just need just one bow or a small bow (recurve, horn, short) and a large (flat, long)?
Thank you for the heads up, if the update came out with this hype, it be a major let down.

Game updates are currently scheduled for the first week of the month. When I know about the HoM update and when they feel I can talk about it publicly, I will let you all know. In the meantime, I'll let them know about your desire to be informed of it prior to the change going live.
As to your other questions, they are still working on the specifics, so I don't have anything to say about that right now.

this is great, a good move by anet so players won't feel so restricted to play only a few of their characters
does this mean, every one of my characters will be able to show Obsidian armor in my hall if it's account based, even though that particular character hasn't got it?
and just a wee little rant... i was really hoping they were going to change the "customised" thing to "dedicated" with the weapons, so at least we'd be able to use those weapons on other characters, but oh well, i'm still pretty pleased with these changes

In reply:
- indeed a good move
- yes, when travelling to the "account based HoM" you can see ALL your elite armors across your entire account, in the form of the character you are currently visiting the HoM with (at least, that's what I understand). Which has made me wonder what 15k Tyrian will look like on Sins, Dervs, Paras and Rits. And also how 15k Tyrian is going to work for the professions that have 5 elite types, and the ones that have 4 (Monk, Warrior vs. Mesmer, Ranger for example).
- I hope so too, but then again, you can still just customize your destroyer and/or tormented weapons to the character you want to use it on, as the HoM will be account based anyway. My characters will get 1 or 2 Tormented weapons each, which in total will result in 11 different weapons, spread out across characters, completing the account wide HoM. (well... eventually that is ^^).

I love it when people speculate about how the different monuments will work. You don't know that will be how the armor monument is going to work. It could very well be a change to the displayed model...if I have Vabbian on my warrior, and send my Dervish to the global HoM, it's probably not going to display dervish vabbian on my character, as it would be a faux pas as my dervish does not HAVE vabbian.
zomg, here are screenshots of obsidian, vabbian and every other elite armor on all of my characters....in HoM, when only my warrior collected them all. Fail.

I'm wondering if I can get an oxygen tank while waiting on this HoM update, I'm currently out of breath.
You should know as a Community Representative that people's patience only goes so far. I kind of feel like we are getting the carrot on a stick approach to alot of these issues.

If the Monument of Resilience would work like an armor rack (i.e. armor storage), it'd be awesome.
