simple just have this quest changed to NON repeatable, still got AB and the new +20 faction points during hm,
i think that should be good enough to stop some bots

so just VQ the same zone over and over you should be able to get your title up ,just like VQing for vanguard title

want to get legendary survivor... i know a friend called kilroy that might help you out

I think it's a joke, Anet really needs to follow through with what they do, not only does it tarnish their ingame rep with players, but I'm sure other companies look down upon them for doing things like this...

More time has been added to the ban (miss all the Halloween fun)
Won't know additional punishment measures until access is permitted (cash, faction, character delete, etc.)

A random rants (and yep, rants):

1. Does Gaile still work for Anet? If not (and I thought she didn't) then why would "just because Gaile said it was ok to use G15" be a good reason to not perma ban?

2. Did Gaile really say that it was ok to use G15 to bot? I doubt that very much. So if Mario Andretti tells me that I can drive his race car to buy milk at the corner store does that me if I drive it 150mph and crash into another driver, it's not that bad because someone famous and knowledgeable told me I could drive the car?

3. Please tell me that these temp bans at least got their gold (since it appears that that's what it's all about) taken away? I know Anet can tell which gold was gotten when and how (personal experience wink wink).

4. And here's an idea, how about taking their title away and forcing them to start from scratch (cause, let's be honest, if you know enough about how to bot, I doubt that G15 was the first time and we're talking about a bunch of casual "botters" who just happened to suddenly realize...oh wow, I could [go into details about how to cheat...what it is...using this exploit]. That's how you teach people lessons more so than banning them or giving them a slap on the wrist...you take what they desire most away.

5. Also curious...did...maybe...someone (or someones0 important to anet fall into the group of people they caught?

Yes, She's no longer a Community Relations person but works as a Support Liason between NCSoft (who does support for Guild Wars) and the ArenaNet team. This means that she gets to do the special stuff and the deep digging in logs for unjustly bans etc.

Its kind of surprising that nobody has addressed that people who used a G15 keyboard are banned and people who used bots were only suspended.

Is this a joke? Rebalancing? NO, this is just stupid. 12M for max title is perfectly fine, for its an awesome title...Savior? It elevates you past GODLIKE, really, 12M is NOT that hard to get. Every heard of [HOPE]? Or any other AB guilds? You can get 1M every 2 weeks if you try for it, this is just stupid. As to the botters, SHAME ON YOU. YOU DON'T HFFF YOU GET AN AMAZING GUILD TEAM INTO AB THEN WIN EVERY MATCH WITH THE 4 OF YOU ALONE!!!

Close to half a year to max a title is more than enough reason to rebalance it. I could complete one mission a day, hard and normal mode, and have two titles in Cantha within 13 days.

All the more reason why you don't have to max all titles to achieve God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals. My point is, if you want the title, you can get it easily enough. If you just want maxed titles, ignore PvP titles like a good little PvE player you are

k botting does not matter to me ppl who do it are lazy. simple solution is not to take out the cash(unffair to real HFFF'ers) its to change the spawn points in lutgardis conservatory. when i HFFF i press . . then space to get to meladrus hope before i can see where i spawned(just for the speed factor). if u add differnt spawn points then the botters would not be able to do the actual run to the expolrable area. or u can just move that explorable area sign that says "melandrus hope" on it then they cant run out the door and u will see them running to random NPC's in the outpost for about 5 hours

I'm wondering if that's not part of what they did on the sly. It seems for certain targets (I am finding it most common with Xunlai Chests and the Storm Beacons in Borlis pass) my character will not auto-pathfind around even the smallest obstacle any more...

You aren't going to be able to stop botting by changing spawn locations or moving things around. Running out a door isn't rocket science, I can think of many ways it could be done even if both of those changes were made.

Fix the titles please. Take out the cash reward too.
