I saw Regina after day 1, and this is no vacation; the whole ANet staff I saw looked bushed. They worked hard and it's only day 1! Heck I should have bought Regina a drink! (I was so busy running around in circles in a typical fit of "omg" that I pretty much forgot everything but talking to as many people as possible, heh, poor NCSoft people are probably like "dude give that girl some downers").

Yes, we managed to learn that Jeremy Soule will be returning to do Guild Wars 2's music.
They'll be posting a transcript on the X-Fire site soon...

Regina also mentioned when talking about how long things take to plan or something like that, she mentioned HoM update being in the next few months (I don't remember the exact quote, but she either said that or hinted to it, best wait for the transcripts to confirm that)
oh and YAY @ Jeremy doing the music

She also mentioned that there aren't plans for any other in-game events this year other than Halloween and Wintersday. I managed to score the mini pet and the skillpin set, yay! <3

I didnt expect her to answer my question about Jeremy Soule doing the music so i was pleasantly suprised when she said yes.
Another thing i asked her was about possible new heroes for the professions that are missing the third - she said there are no plans but its always a possiblity.
Also MOX will be the "main" thing of September so dont expect anything big.

GW2 news
I attended the Talk on 3 years of guild wars today at PAX and the VIP party afterwards. I had a great time and got alot of stuff at the party. I remember in the talk that they announced that there will be 3 novels coming out that will explain what happens in the time period of about 250 years between guild wars 1 and guild wars 2. Other than that, no other news on guild wars 2. Trust me I asked they were very tight lipped on the subject.

If you haven't managed to find the link to the Xfire transcripts yet: http://www.xfire.com/blog/paxchats/313900/
Unfortunately, we were having wireless problems at the convention center, so there was a chunk of time when I wasn't connected to the chat room, during which the Xfire staff and PAX staff tried to get the router reset.
Someone on the thread asked about when the beta would be, and a couple people have suggested rough dates. We have no announced date or timeframe for the beta. Anything that isn't on the FAQ on the official website should be considered pure speculation.

I had quite a Threadless addiction at one point, but I'm trying to cut down. They're having a sale right now and I've done a great job of resisting so far. :-P

I did interviews with Regina and Chris Lye (Marketing Director) at PAX and will be posting one or both of them up this week. Regina was really great to talk to, even though she had a ton going on. One really cool thing was that there were a ton of devs and staff there from ArenaNet and all had volunteered to work the booth in order to meet and chat with fans.
I posted some pics and did a write-up from PAX over at my blog if anyone wants to take a look: http://teamlove.us/guildtracks/

I didn't expect to see GW fans at the gathering, so it was great to meet you. ^_^

I believe a transcript of the panel will be out soon. I don't have an ETA on that yet.
I submitted a ton of questions to the devs, but it was up to them to pick and choose which ones to answer.
