I was really hoping to see the Mad King hang out until the end of the event, only to see he was only there the 1 day, which was unfortunately too busy, oh well. Another oddly handled ANET event, it would have made sense to just complete the weekend as we didnt have any other weekend events.

I wouldn't mind a reprise of the finale, if they can add some code to automatically kick all the Nelson Munz wannabes, that show up to taunt during "Mad King Says".

y'all need to quit the crying, the event WAS for a week this year. who cares if it ended a couple hours early....it ran for 4-5 extra DAYS.

oh yea if worst case scenario to please the masses, a-net could do a halloween hangover event and have tot bag drops and costume brawls next weekend.

The problem here is that Regina Buenabora herself admitted that ANet screwed up in setting the end time for the Halloween event, and the event wasn't supposed to end a day early. So that's the official word. (Check back a couple of pages for her post.) Now, it doesn't matter all that much to me, personally, because I got three stacks or so' worth of ToT bags from drops (mostly from runs through Irontoe's Lair), sold one, and got 500-600 items, don't remember the exact count, from the rest. So I've gotten mine. But I do sympathize with those who were shortchanged - I think the Mad King should actually have visited through the whole weekend, the way the Celestial (whatever) does at Canthan New Year IIRC - and agree that ANet needs to do something to make things right for them.

I met with the Live Team yesterday to discuss, and we decided that we will be re-running the Halloween event, NOT including the Mad King, this coming weekend. This will include the following content: Halloween loot drops, collectors, and Costume Brawl.
