I will give it a 4~6 month break if the upcoming skill update fails to fix at least SOME of the things that have been outlined by Mid-top to top players for the past year.
Its gotten really bad. RA is rot with syncers who are ruining the glad title, TA is dying more everyday, HA has been dead to pugs since god knows when, Hero battles are still degenerate, GvG has been suffering from bad changes for a while now, and AB is still PvE.
If they at least try to fix one of these I will be satisfied, if not its gg.

Grind titles if you're bored. Farm using 55 or SF and see many yellow numbers. If you have done all that, it's time to call it quits...cept for /age farming of course(the best kind!!)

I rarely log on. Basically once a few days for like a minute, and to reap my prediction points.

only on special events
I only play on special events and holidays now. Still need to get some gamer points other than that I dont. I ended up grinding out 30max titles on my monk and lost interest after that. Still think the game is good.
Recently I started playing warhammer online and really liked the RvR. So unless its a holiday event , I am done till GW2.

I got all the destroyer weapons, 5 armors in my HoM, 20 minis, all the heroes and pets except the UW spider, and 14 title statues in my hall.
After all that...I really don't feel like doing anymore. I want to get the one last title I need to get R3 KOABD, but I just don't feel motivated to keep grinding out the points to max out another rep title (have Ebon Vanguard at 93k approx).
I will see how I am feeling motivated after the Halloween festival. Going to try to get enough cash to get another set of armor maybe.
If I don't feel motivated to do that, I will hang around for festivals to get the hats and for some fun, but will mainly wait till I hear more about GW2 and what the stuff in our HoM will mean before I grind out more time on them.

I don't get on as much as I use to, actually I have gotten out of the gaming phase it seems. And I am pretty happy I did lol. I get on like maybe once every 3-5 days or something. I still like the game but...I don't even know lol.

cold turkey
I'm finally quitting after two and a half years of hardcore playing.
not because its boring, but because im addicted, and cant stop. it was hurting every aspect of my life, and i feel like such a loser for playing this game hardcore as i replaced the good things in my life with a computer game.
I've always been into video games; its sort of my drug of choice if you will. but it never got as bad as guild wars. i avoided WoW for just that reason; it is said to be addictive. well it turns out any MMO can do that to a person. i left job with money saved up, and played for 8 months all by myself shut inside my little apartment, playing about 13 hours a day every day. i got so unhealthy and weak that i had to finally call for help because i couldnt take good enough care of myself and didnt have the ability to stop.
oh well that was about 2 months ago, and im starting college finally, and moved to a new town with a new job. i tried playing just a little here, but that isnt working apparently, so i have no choice but to quit altogether. i hope i dont go buy any new MMO's like a dumbass because i cant control myself.
what finally made me decide to quit, is i didnt study for a test and then missed the class altogether because i felt like a few more matches in RA was a better idea than studying. and im not blaming the game or its grind or whatever. it was my fault and i have to fix my life one thing at a time...
gave away most of my in-game stuff so far, might log in one more time before deleting all my toons and uninstalling tonight. i cant wait!

yes. I played guild wars for 1 month, then I quitted because I didn't know how to get out of pre-searing ascalon xD. So I got kinda stuck ingame. Then quitted for about 4 months, but when my friend told me how to get outta pre-searing I started playing again ^^
Noobtime ftw

I started playing Christmas 2005, gift it was, logged nearly 4000 hours by Christmas 2007. Took a 4 month break from first week of July 2008 until first week of Nov. A break that was really needed. Now I am refreshed and ready to finally get my Ele through all the chapters. She needs 3.2% of the map in Prophesies, 60% through Factions, 42% through Nightfall, just barely started in Eye. Been playing too many characters to play one clear through.
In spite of playing that long, I am still learning stuff about this game. Still not planning to buy GW2 at this point.

Play about an hour or two a day. Sometimes a bit more on weekends depending on the event or holiday.
