Well...
Today doing lots of chest runs, I died early (gg) and stayed to wait for the next run..but the group leader runs across the entire map and res's me. Gettting resed rarely even happens in chest runs Ive been on.. (Note I am talking about Nahpui Quarter) but that guy went all out. I later resed him when he died to return the favor.

It was a while ago, when I think black dye was once 40k at trader and you could sell for 26. I was a newbie back then. ^^ Some cocky person was bragging about how he is so rich and stuff, I was like "you bully rich people!" in all chat. Then this random guy pms me, asks if I am wealthy. I laugh and say sure not. Then he says ok, invites me and opens trade with 25k in it. To me that was a lot back then! I tried to just shrug it off and not want it, he said it was just fine. So yep, got a free amount of 25k. ^.^ Wow that made my day! I just remembered his name.. I would love to pay him back, or at least say thanks again. Eh, I do good Karma type things though. Hanging out sometimes in ascalon/piken and give info/items to some new players.

well... i have a few things to add. For starters, when was on my first character back when he had just gotten to beacons perch, i saw all these people giving droks runs for 2k... being my cheap (and broke) self i looked for someone doing a free test run. after awhile, some one pmed me and gave me 2k as long as i spent it on a run. so i get into a group, only to realize she's in the same group with me. she tagged along with the run and gave me another 2k and the runner 2k for just letting her go along, even though she had already been to droks.
Second, my guild helped me get my low leveled warrior though ascension missions and gives all the materials i could ever need for free.
Finally, the grand finale, the nicest thing some one *is* going to do for me... my guildie has everything he wants... armor, weapons, so forth. so, being the rich guy he is, he bought another guildie 15K armor and is going to give me 100k to buy a kuunavang as soon ashe finishes helping another guildie.

Two nice players in one day - karma is nice
First was a player who was willing and trusting enough to do a double cash trade for an Urgoz bow (instead of cash + ecto). Found a quiet district, took screen shots, shook hands, went our merry way.
Second was a guy needing a bow mod. After starting discussion he went quiet and I thought "Ok, lost the deal, moving on". A few minutes later, he PM'd back to say he was having a problem with a silly player, thanked me for my patience, and gave me 2K more than the mod was worth for waiting and talking nicely to him! After that we had a chat about armour, weapons and guilds... and went on our merry way with a /bow!

my alliance member gave me a free pare of perfect daggers for free. We were faction farming and chest running at the same time, i was looking at my old daggers and hoping for some better ones in the chests and he just gave them to me because req 10 or more isnt really anything special, but they did to me because they had perfect mods. Me and him are real good friends now.

Me:Yes
Him:Wheres a good place around here to chest run?
Me:I do it in witmans folly, usually 3 chests, 1 gold.
Him:Thank you
After that, he came to me and gave me 1k for the info. Pretty nice if you ask me.

Over my playing time in gw i have given away over 700k to friends, guildes and new players. not counting backpacks full of weapons and upgraades, at 1 point i was down to my last 100k but since hen i have bounced back to my old self.

When I first got to the desert, a nice warrior offered to run me to all the outposts and missions for free. I think he had just arrived there himself, and decided it would be a waste to just run himself, so he offered to bring random people

Well I think it is nice to see that there are still nice players out there, now if we could only get them all into one guild/alliance ...

I like to play Santa from time to time, whilst doing later-on missions, collecting random staffs/foci/shields/upgrades, If they don't say "highly Salvageable" I like to give them away to new players on Shing Jea Island. From time to time I'll go across to Tyria (which I bought after Factions) and pick up items there... One problem is, I can't advertise free stuff too much in Shing Jea, otherwise I get a flood of people 'just arriving' as level 2 players...
I also like to move around the towns in Shing Jea and usually advertise "Free stuff for lvl 6 or less", and gradually move the lvl up if there are no takers. One guy arrived in Shing Jea as lvl 2 after I'd moved towns and PMd me saying he wanted to see what I had. Suspecting he had just made a new character in order to get free stuff I said "Ok, I'm in Tsumei Village, I like to move around, meet me here"...time passed and he never arrived, 5 minutes later I get another whisper from him saying "I'm stood on the bridge in Shing Jea, I'm getting very pissed off now..."...which continues for quite a while. I ignore him for a bit but after a while it gets too annoying so I ignore him. If he'd have REALLY wanted what I had he could have just walked to Tsumei Village - it's not hard!
I have stopped giving stuff away in Shing Jea Monastry now because people tend to abuse Santa's trust now...There are a few good towns in Shing Jea where you can find real new players who actually appreciate what you're giving them, and not the type of fake lvl 2 character who would just salvage it straight away!

I met this nice little boon/prot(female monk) in a thunderhead bonus group, who stay with us the entire time even we miss out the bonus(lit beacon a little too late).
The MM and ele had left the game, but the monk stay and help out others to finish the mission. Many thanks to you(if you are reading this)

Back in my grawl farming days, I used to pick up some collector's ascalon longbow and that 20/20 healing staff to hand them out around yak's bend area. I stop doing that due to the same reason you mention.

I had once started a pug HA grp , back in the day.
We got all the way to Halls (first time i won under my name so i extremely exited ), but at 0:05, the warrior err7. We held halls 4 times. Since we felt sorry for the warrior, we all decided to share the sigils (2 each).
He and I became very good GW friends. PvP and PvE style. When i had need for powerleveling or 55ing, he would help out. When he needed either, i would help him. Most of my tombs runs, i had him come with us. Its really sad, but he left the game for rl stuff, but before leaving he gave me all of his stuff which included 119 ecto, 100k, 10 shards, and his account alltogether.
This was the greatest gamer i have ever met. I know we can't post names, but F that . Nameless I I , RESPECT!!
The other extremely nice people i've met in guild wars have come from the guild Knights And Heros [Beer]. They are an alliance of about 250-300 member who are so friendly and selfless. They can't stop giving eachother free runs, mission completion, materials, weapons, and also free fow sets every month. I'm sad i had to leave them, but they are doing fine even without me . Alexi, Carmon, Doomslayer, Black Kid, and all of you at [Beer], PROPS!
Guild Wars is filled with nice people, you just have to be equally nice.
