Lvl 20 Pets in Pre
Does anyone know the way to level your pet up to level 20 in pre? Because I saw a level 16 Ranger with a level 20 pet but I don't know how they would do that.
I also don't know if it is under the death leveling article on wiki, because this is the only website i can access atm.
Oh yeah, and his pet was a Dire Strider i think, if that makes a difference

The ranger likely DLeveled the pet from Level 16. It requires an insane amount of dedication to do it that way. Personally, I've got a mesmer who's DLeveling with his pet, so they will turn Level 20 together.

You can death level the pet, letting it kill you over an over, before taming it.

It's actually not too terribly time consuming. From level 15 I've death leveled to 20 over the course of a full night's sleep. 8-10 hours should do the trick I believe.

however, death leveling it before taming only works while you sleep if you choose an animal that spawns near enough to a res shrine to be lured there - pretty much limited to a bird or, on the rare occasion, a pig north of the wall.
Otherwise you will have to remain at the keyboard to re-establish agro after each res. (a bear, of course, would require 2 people to be active)

I have never seen a pig north of the wall spawn close enough to death level without having to run to the pig. I would be willing to pay a reward if you can show me that.

you let the pet kill you over and over, which means the pet has to be close enough to the shrine.
