Actually when i think about it, only time this can happen is when necro team should be goin to vale, while chamber sin is killing the chamber. THe only way he could loot the ecto is instead of goin to the vale, he waits for the chamber sin to finish killing the chamber, then run up and loots it.
The necro should be goin to the vale, but instead waits there to loot a leached ecto. So not only is the sin shorted an ecto, but has to wait for the necro to get to vale to trigger unwanted.
Honestly that a very dick move of the necro, and if it was a pug i'd either trigger unwanted on top of him while letting him no that if he didn't leach the ecto he wouldn't have been in chamber during unwanted, or wipe the group. I also leave terrorwebs on top of the ectos until they decays, so during escort the don't get ninja'ed.
If you want more ecto in UWSC, make a ele, and do wastes, otherwize deal with the fact that if you playing necro, only chance for ecto is from 4 groups with 2 other people having equal shots at them. When you play a solo roll, i expect ecto that drop to be who is actually killing, not who happens to be there.

IMHO, you are wrong. The game dropped it for whomever it dropped for. Many of times if I was doing vale group. I have gotten a gold or ecto drop from foes chamber is killing. It happens. Guess what it is not yours just because you are solo'ing the area. It still is a team effort. Everyone paid for their spot. Everyone has a job and does it, or at least tries to. It doesn't matter how anyone feels about it. The ecto dropped for whomever and that is who it belongs too. I don't even mind when i am farming plains after the job is done that a person stands there and leeches a drop. My only wish is they wait till agro is gone and not screw it up before getting their drop.
It is the height of immaturity when you fail a group because you didn't get what you think is yours.
The only time one can have a drop that is assigned to another is when it is agreed upon before the mission begins. Duo farm groups, or whatever. But until uwsc groups start agreeing that you have to share ectos, well then you don't have too.

Dang an epic thread that started because of a disagreement over "1" ecto. How much lower can we go?

Well then don't group with me then, if a group i soloed drops an gold/ecto assigned to someone else, i'll stop killign the group if the person starts camping waiting for me to finish killing. If the person doesn't move along, then i'll pull the group to him, to motivate him to leave. If he rather die or wipe the party for a ecto he leached, that his problem, i have no remorse for what happens. If the necro is camping for a drop, he is not doin his job in vale.

how do you know he didn't go afk to go to the bathroom or some sh1t like that, and just happen to be near when the creep died and dropped it, its not like the necro knew an ecto was going to drop, even so it still wasn't guaranteed to drop for the necro
has gw really come to everyone farming for cash to get more "1337" and b1tch when someone else gets a decent drop

I can write a QQ novel on my recent experiences in UW SC PuGs.
Seems idiots and leechers find more and more ways to infiltrate the groups... Maybe there are no more good players left out there?
GW2 should have an age restriction of 21+ and be subscription based.
Edit: Not sure if even that will help tho...

tbh, some of the most immature people I've encountered in guildwars have been adults. For example, today, I joined a new guild, and when someone in alliance started a ha group, I decided to join in. Got on vent, the people on were all adults. What were they doing? Playing some sort of game involving burping and farting on vent. I had to pretend that my mic was broken, they wanted me to play too....

Something similar happened to me a long time ago. A ecto dropped for me and I died. Punk didn't res me and once the timer on the ecto was up, she took it and left. I was pissed.

and that does outright suck, however what was meant by this thread was that someone was in the range of a creep that died, and the ecto just so happened to drop for that someone, and the person who was "soloing" left and screwed everyone over because the ecto just happened to drop for the other person instead of him/her self, the "soloer"

epic 'venting'
Seriously though, I've also witnessed some crazy behavior from 'more mature' players. So maybe an age restriction wont help much...
It is just sad to see the game we all love and enjoy failing more and more each day. It used to be full of helpful, friendly people. Now, not so much

Guild / Alliance runs are the best, agreed, but members are not always available.
Part of the problem with having lives is that you have to balance game time with stuff going on in RL. So when you only have 30 minutes to play before you have to take the wife shopping (for example :P ) and everyone in the guild / alliance is busy, what do you do?
You PuG.

well depending upon what you are doing, if uw/fow/stuff like that you pug, other wise you h/h, personally i spend as little time in uw as possable, i got my obby and chaos gloves and got out, having money is just a reason to be hacked, therefore i have basically no money, only reason i wish i had money would be so i can work on sweet/party/drinking title

First post was just greed.
Height of Immaturity imo was all those Golems blocking the view of the Mad King during Halloween. How lame. Wouldn't even move if ask politely. Annoying kids. Totally ruined it for me. Fortunately I can look at my Thorn mini...

The thing is if you do a certain area often enough, you soon begin to recognize good players and bad ones. And soon enough greedy players will start being excluded from good teams. So remember names guys.

- Chamber is killing stuff;
- Aatxe patrol gets close to stairs, vale tank grabs it, necro starts killing;
- Ecto drops from chamber mobs... for the vale team.
I've had it happen to me and the chamber dude bugged me for the ecto until the run was over. I was nice and gave it to him, but it did drop for me and I was doing my job, therefore it should have been mine and I should have kept it.
Same thing if necro is being told to wait to take restore - happens in the case where you run with 2 necros (one usually stays back to take restore when chamber kills the terrorwebs). Drops for him, he's doing his job, he should keep it.
And killing the whole team for ONE ecto, out of spite, is one of the most childish and immature things I've ever seen. It's like a spoiled 5-year-old kid throwing a tantrum because he wants a toy.

FYI, you don't have to actually look at MK to interact to his jokes and emote requests. I was watching the chat log for almost his entire visit to see what he says next.
