I was observing matches today when I noticed that one guild, American Apparel (aa) had a silver trim. It was peculiar because I knew that they didn't exist until the last monthly (proof: their Official Guild Wars Ladder Page) and they didn't score top 16 in the last monthly - yet, they have a silver trim.

Are trims free to give to anyone now? Can we buy them for any guild?

fact of the day:

Anet left the silver trim on mkay and baby after they got sold. it only recently got taken off even tough they hadnt played in a mAT in 2 months.

Another fact: this guild (whoever they are) never existed until this month. There was no "previous trim" to get left over from.

There are about a dozen AA guild tags out there, all from different guilds. Mine is one of them.

Anet failed on guild tags and capes.

Even though this is pretty dumb..
But since when do people who buy their gold capes (eF) care about the way other people get their trims?

Imo remove gold capes from guilds that got sold, just to annoy the pve players

Ummmm in PvP, capes turn either red or blue. While that may be the design of the cape, it may not necessarily be the actual color outside of the silver trim. But yeah, only chick's obsess over such details... or guys who swing from the other side of the plate if ya know what i mean lol! In any case, why are people even QQing about this? Who cares if they have a silver or not. If they had a gold, maybe I could understand and would be calling ANet to give me mine, but yeah. I call for a thread closure.

Lol that went clear over your head. A trim is a trim, its something to complain about and thats what we do here on guru. Also please don't act like you have any standing, you don't

Steel Phoenix has silver trim and took 41st in mAT. Please to explain.

ADDED: Real Teazer has bronze but didnt not place top 32.

Its because we're that awesome!

Izzy usually adds before he removes. All guilds that got a trim in October will still have it. Unless it changed, from silver to bronze for example. Those are bronze now.

Bar the [AA) and Oct trims there shouldn't be any more older non-gold ones around, I believe.
