Skill Updates
Mesmer
Power Leech: Energy cost reduced to 5.
Necromancer
Aura of the Lich: Energy cost increased to 15.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug that caused "It's Just a Flesh Wound" to apply even if no conditions were removed.
Fixed a bug that caused Cultist's Fervor to work with non-Necromancer spells.
Fixed a bug that stopped Lingering Curse from changing the Health bar to pink.
Fixed a bug that stopped Mark of Insecurity from changing the Health bar to pink.
Fixed a bug that stopped Weaken Knees from changing the Health bar to pink.
Fixed a bug that caused the Ritualist spirit Bloodsong to deal an extra hit when affected by Signet of Ghostly Might.
Miscellaneous
Increased faction gain per kill in Amatz Basin to 5.

So now amatz is a non-bottable form of getting only 1/5 the amount of faction as the old HFFF which was only nerfed because it was bottable.

aura....neh--15 is still negligible....still having fun with it either way......and hm, my bloodsong wasnt doing extra hits.....oh well, guess either way its 'fixed' now.....
may go do amatz for a bit...need some more faction-----

Amatz faction for saving refugees was nerfed yesterday.
Increasing faction per kill is less a buff than a partial de-nerf.
Either way, it's pretty self evident that the way it is 'intended' to be played is to protect the refugees by killing the things hunting them, rather than by distracting them in perma Shadowform. Which by way of a trade off probably needs to be looked at as an alternative to beating Shadowform any harder with the nerf bat.
As far as the one fifth...
...HFFF was unplugged for being bottable.
And one of the stated intentions of Lindsay's vast update last month was to stop that, while introducing more options.
Amatz is one such option, but it's considerably less lucrative than pre-nerf HFFF.
Maybe about 1/5th.

lol @ Amatz "buff". Nobody ever played to faction farm through kills. Clearly ANet hopes we'll slam Sliver Armor on the bar or spam Burning Speed moar. owait, was there a SF nerf yesterday?

I'm guessing it was to make archane echoing it more difficult. That was happening a LOT in RA today. And its still terrible. MMs are not good in a PvP area with 4 people. When we kill you, your masterless minions are more of a threat to your teammates then the other team. Play a real bar please. This is really only an AB/FA/PvE build.

Mmm, so they realized reducing faction gain to 1 per refugee was too little, however it's not enough. Boost it to at least 10 before we talk about EVER entering Amatz again.
