and gw players wonder why there are so many more playing WoW..atleast there you actually get rewards for time spent and reaching the end of the game..rather than your equipment having the same stats as some random noob who got a run to droks, or titles that are being made progressively easier to get. 30 titles beat all 4 games then why should you keep playing GW? and if you're not going to play GW why play GW2 since by the time it comes out there will be a new game that will likely be superior to GW2..if you can't keep em playing then you won't have player retention, ie death of guild wars..we've all seen regardless of what people say with their whole "GW isn't dead" crap. as i said earlier~ i quit, why keep playing if my achievements are going to be cheapened and my accomplishments are going to be made so easy even the worst GW player can get them..i thought gw was supposed to be about player skill? kk thx

I have legendary guardian and I see no money coming out of my butt.
You don't get much from beating missions in NM/HM. seriously. YOu can get it in a week. If you have money coming out of your butt, it's because you farmed. if you're farming, you're not getting Legendary guardian.
That's just a poor excuse.
Me, I'd like more money so I can buy stuff for other titles. That's just me.

Wonderful update! I have beaten all 3 campaigns and done most of the missions on my main, but my other characters will benefit from this greatly.
My thanks to Anet! Also QQs kindly throw yourself off a cliff.

As I've already said, the update is amazing, but what about the Hall of Monuments ? Wasn't it supposed to be made account-wide too ?
Maybe it'll just come later. Anyway, great job Anet.

I would just like to see a "Book Bag" as mentioned before. 12 Books per Toon... Zho, Mox, and 2ea (1 NM 1 HM) for Dungeon Master, Heros HB, Tyria Book, NF Book, Factions Book. Thats ALOT IMHO and I don't think it would be too hard to add... It may be but I would really like to see atleast a comment by Regina or another Anet Rep on this.
All in All I really think this will balance "Faction" and its a good update... TY Anet for giving us something even if its not perfect Great job keep up the great work and oh BTW they got it out in time.

your right that we didn't expect the reward, however it is assinite knowing that people who did the same thing as you will now be given greater rewards than you were for doing it

I have legendary guardian, i usually never have near 100k, because all the money i get usually goes for lockpicks, i don't do those farms because they are boring, i spent my time in uw doing 2man to farm the ectos for my oby over a year ago, and if anet rly cared about the economy they would ahve removed ursan a lot sooner than they did, and sf would have been gone a long time ago

Imagine that, a game where PvP is supposed to be skill based.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
And Philanas, the reason I mention "dedication" was because in the post I was quoting, the guy said this update "screwed over dedicated players." My point was it doesn't bother me.
Anyway, I should know by now to just give up arguing with people on guru. Good night.

Thank you very much Anet for the update, great job. ^_^-b
I don't understand why everyones so fussed about not getting their books automatically filled. I'm happy enough that I now have a reason to repeat these missions on my Legendary Guardians. This also gives more reason to help out people with missions. ^^

One thing I noticed is not only did they make it so you have to now kill mobs not just be at the location for the repeatable Faction rep quests which is fine. They have also buffed those mobs considerably, not only did they punish the HFFers they punished everyone by doing that, and that was uncalled for.
Now they are like fighting a whole group of mini bosses, making the quests no longer worth the effort it is better to just forget them and VQ areas instead. I mean I got over 10k for one VQ and could have done it much quicker had I not taken one of those repeatable quests and had to put up with a number of wipes fighting those mobs trying to complete it.

Well, three years into playing this game and tonight I got my first Luxon/Kurzicks skill. So, I suppose thats a good thing. I'm still curious as to what the reward amounts behind the storybooks are...

I would just like to take the time out to thank Anet and Lindsey and the rest of the Design team for the awesome update today. Really going to make GW a lot of fun for the next couple of months.
Also to the qq'ers, your wow accounts will be handed out on the way out XD.

IMO the update was pretty bad. Punishing people who did LG before is stupid, and adding books for us to grind out the missions again is also pretty stupid. Nothing new, just them fixing the problems they created for themselves. It certainly wasn't worth the hype.

I'm a treasure hunter at heart, so Thank you so much for basing that and wisdom across an account
The rest doesn't really impact me personally, but it's made a lot of people in my alliance quite happy (as far as I can tell), so that makes me happy.

Very nice update ANet. I got like, 70-80k free Kurz faction, about 45k free Lux (which I had to lose), and now my caps are pretty big. Very nice.
I also got a bunch of free SS/LB points....so now I'm WAY over max, not that I needed them.
I would like free books though, Legendary Guardian was way too much of a struggle with H&H to want to do it again....

Best part of the update is that foes in the isle of nameless (PvP) started to give 40 balt each when you kill them. 1k balt in 20-30 second. That's the "Crash bug" latest update =/
