In the tradition of the season, you will also receive special holiday-themed headgear for attending the Wintersday finale; and if you complete all four of the Eye of the North quests, you'll find a special surprise waiting in [[Gwen's garden]]!

I literally squee'd. Oh the things my fangirly imagination can come up with...Are you gonna force me to put even more costumes on my roster ANET? I hope so XD

I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume there's going to be a collector for red iris flowers in Gwen's Garden. Hrm, time to do some running around Charr Homelands.

Well, the deal is that Gwen's got the holiday blues. The quest chain involves spreading cheer throughout EotN.
I'm guessing the surprise is more of a "special" moment with Gwen or something. It doesn't have to be a material reward, ya know! (But it probably is)

You know that if they don't get something material out of it more than half of guru will QQ their little eyes out for weeks.

NOTE: NO, NO - no new Wintergreen weapons. My wand and staff are sacred and should never be duplicated. They were our reward for the first tournament predictions which can never occur again.

Typical example of a scrub. "I have one accomplishment 2 years ago that I got lucky on, and that should remain sacred because it's so important. I also don't really have any skill, so I want everything to be luck based."

I need to re-read the info, I did not see this! (maybe I can get my wintergreen weapon back - gave it to a friend who stopped playing GW, and she hates me for some unknown reason... women) <--- gonna get flamed for that.

Awesome that we're gonna get new EotN quests!

I personally am hoping for a Grentch Mini.
But knowing Anet, it will probably end up being an adult mini gwen in a kinky christmas outfit.

the reason everyone thinks the drop rate is so rare is this,
they did not add it to dropingame til 2 days before fest ended and by the time someone gotten one then everyone flooded to farm it it was too late,
this year the mini willbearound alot more now sence everyone is going to farm for it like all get up. by jan 5th i dont think its going to be worth over 300ecto

It's gonna be a fun time (always is!) But I'm hoping[ that people will understand a few things about the main event:
1. It's NOT Christmas Day - It's on New Year's.
2. EVEN numbered Kamadan / LA Districts are used to support Dwayna.
3. ODD numbered Districts are used to support Grenth.
4. The BLUE/GREEN circles are the ones to stand on to support Dwayna.
5. The RED circles are the ones to stand on to support Grenth.
6. The color of the sides in the Snowball arena has NO BEARING WHATSOEVER upon the above facts.*
*Several people in Kamadan AD3 flamed me pretty badly for trying to explain this to them last year as the first event approached. I did not gloat when it proved that they were utterly and completely embarrassed when the thing started.

People should read through wiki now aswell, remember if you hold candy canes you can gamble them aswell contributing slightly to your titles.
Then again people saying "wheres hat?" and "where do i get the corn cob pipe etc?"...is what the season is all about
Sure it gets annoying but half of them do it on purpose to piss you off and get alittle fun outta it.
I shouldnt force people to read guru or wiki but as much as it does help it can be quicker sometimes just to explain something straight away to someone.

Ugh, Snowball Arena - the worst of the event arenas. Will just have to wait and see how the tournament is, but I don't have high hopes for it. And with the art contest not being a design-a-hat, Wintersday just isn't exciting me. Though it never really does anyways - guess I'm just a grentch at heart. I'm already wishing the Halloween event would come again over looking forward to this, but to each their own.
