With Shadow nexus, its not soo bad, the time I was there I notice that I need about 100 point per armor remenent drop, maybe the other two challenge are like that, they drop according to your points..

Just a theory of course, but a small trend I notice when I was there.

This is something i never understood, people say play on a different character (B) to get more remnants because character (A) has reached his limit of 3 pieces etc That's great, so i use the remnants i get using (B) on character (A). What happens when i want to change the armour on (B) heroes? use character (C)?

You should be able to get at least 5 pieces per character fairly easy without having to resort to swapping to another character. I gave up getting the final 2 pieces for the last 2 nightfall heroes because they just don't drop any more on (A) even if i spend hours trying. i also tried to find someone selling what i needed but people don't seem to play these missions any more and they certainly don't sell the remnants pieces.

I just know I spent like 5 hours trying to get the last 3 pieces I needed (for Norgu, Goren, and Olias, I'd gotten Zenmai and Morgahn theirs long ago). Even got onto the scoreboard a couple of times I think...

When NC West ceases to direct all concerns to forums then there will be a reason to quit airing them on Guru. Since they are unwilling and incapable of observing things that are wrong without, and nearly as often with, forum commentary this is where one points out things such as:

This mission is a "challenge mission," an entirely optional mission with optional rewards. It also has a scoreboard, so competition is encouraged. It may be helpful to learn the definition of challenge before asserting that rewards should be distributed based on attendance rather than skill.

Four days is not required to earn rewards in this mission, unless you have not acquired the necessary tactics. Read the guides and practice. There is nothing wrong with the drop rates; they are meant to diminish to nearly zero once you have collected enough for all your heroes on a particular character. To get more, play on another character.

You're a goddamn idiot. Seriously. The mechanism to getting the armor remnants are there...it's not NCsoft's responsibility to make sure you use their program correctly in order to get what you want. You were the one being a moron and not killing the maddened spirits thus not getting a high chance of obtaining what you're going after.

Learn to read lately? I was killing the Maddened Spirits. They were not dropping.

And Mister B, these missions ceased to be optional when they became they way one places heroes in the HoM. When the Heroes can be added without armor remnants being used then these missions will return to being optional.

So actually you have it the other way around, they used to be the only way to get armor for your NF heroes, now you have the Domain of Anguish. So yeah, they are optional.

I mostly did Domain of Anguish for armors anyways, they look nicer and were easier to get.
