im waiting for the year of the dragon, so we can get an ACTUAL chinese dragon since we were suppose to get one in factions but kuunavang had wings, the oriental dragons dont have wings. kuunavangs without wings = oriental dragon....

@^: I don't think we will get a snake dragon without wings. They will be skinned similar as GW monsters, I'm sure.

Also: Celestial Dragon Anyone?

My guesses for all future celestial animals:

Ox - Rogue Bull
Tiger - Too Easy
Rabbit - Too Easy
Dragon - Saltspray Dragon
Snake - Naga
Horse - Kirin
Sheep - Dunno for this
Monkey - Simian
Rooster - Dunno for this, think there are some Rooster models in game already - non-interactive.
Dog - Wolf

Not necessarily.. Chinese new year always features the traditional Dragon versus Tiger. If ANET REALLY wants to give the dragon out, then they can do so without breaking tradition and just give them both out to each alliance (one to kurzick the other to luxon and have the people trade em). Personally, I would think that would be great before they release GW 2 and end the entire game..

Although I'd assume we would have Canthan New year in GW2 as well - can't wait to see Divinities Reach all decorated - where they would also give out minipets.

I'm looking forward to this years event, even though it's going to be the weekend I start school back up again. Though it seems like it's a little close to Wintersday, and I'm a bit festivaled out.

I think the cows from factions and kourna will be used as a celestial reskin, but I'm hoping for the rogue bull skin as well.
Tiger and Dragon is something to look forward to, but by then we'll probably all be playing GW2 (if that worlds.com company doens't ruin NCSoft by then)...
When will the event be held?

My guess is that it's not happening the weekend prior (23-26), because the mAT is on Jan 24/25, and that's just way too much damn lag to deal with. Nine rings alone makes hideous lag *g*

alli said it was the 26th is the day it starts inthe real world lol never said anythgin about wheninguildwars, but yeah it is the last weekend of themonth for guildwars, i already knew that that ,

What I make of it is Halloween (excludes Cantha) week+ event, Wintersday (excludes Cantha) 2week+ long event, Canthan New Year a weekend ( which means no practically chance to play for those who have to work 12 hour shifts on weekends).

Yet again, Cantha gets bent over and well you know...
