Personally I will always figure out what my favorite prestige armor for a class is and take that one, since usually the normal versions are kind of bad in comparison anyways as far as armor goes (i know we are talking about weapons skins but w/e). As far as weapons go I try to find the one that I think looks best with my armor.
as far as both armor and weapons go, you need to remember that there are still many many people in this game who do not belong to the category of rich, or even semi wealthy. hell, if you don't believe me go back to prophecies and ask around for how much money people have, there are still many many people in the game who have never seen more than 20K at once. The skins that are less expensive and less rare are for them, not you. If there are people who feel like showing off all of their wealth is worth looking ridiculous, I say let them. In the end its their waste of money to the benefit of the guy who does NOT want to be caught wearing an expensive piece of trash. |

Anet don't even have the time to post some bit of news about GW2, how can they spare the time to make new weapon skins?
But the amount of skins is a bit too little I will agree =D |
