Default Easter drops finished early?

Normally these events run from Noon Friday to Noon Monday PST.

Just killed quite a number of Vaettir and no bunnies or eggs.. so I can only assume they stopped dropping early.

They do not normally run until noon monday, only certain ones do, like certain holidays, and when they do, they announce that before hand. Ending at midnight is the norm.

What are you on about? Good friday and Easter sunday are Easter. 'Easter monday' has nothing to do with anything.

He may be talking about the bank holiday Monday that we get in the UK (in addition to good friday), which some call easter Monday because it follows the easter sunday.

Usually only in uk do we have bank holiday mondays such as easter monday - shud rename it public holiday .
Gw is american based and shudnt have to follow any non american holidays - without seeming racist or against some religions ( which im not ) do you see gw having jewish holidays or even german holidays - no.
St patricks days i think is only exception as its an irish holiday and america does have a small amount of irish ppl living there when their parents moved to usa and kept the holiday up.
If gw celebrated all the public holidays there would be events on almost all the time.
Gw is american based and all us non americans just have to accept that and live with it - ive coped 2yrs of it and never thought a thing about it as well as the other players who have been almost 4yrs.

I think we should just start having these items drop year-round. That'll stop all this needless complaining.

Or alternatively, and perhaps more deserved by the whiners, we could have them not drop at all.

Wow , what a retarded and narrow minded viewpoint and actually A-net is owned by NC soft which is Korean so going by your way of thinking we shouldnt have any ''western holiday events'' at all, what a fun game Guild wars would be then >.< .

And where are all the devs based...oh yeah that's right, it has nothing to do with ownership of the company. Hypocrite.

13th of April was bank holiday in UK

Plenty UK-based players were dissapointed with the event finishing earlier than expected. That includes me
Furthermore... Easter in GW wasn't even announced ingame. How much effort does it take to edit MOTD? Anet is doing this every week but this time they forgot (or didn't bother)

Before someone says (that includes you Eragon, with 34-35 titles) "You had 2.5 days to farm"... sit back for a minute and think what Easter actually is

For me Monday 13th was the only day this weekend I sat on GW for more than 3 hours

My family > GW

/edit
29 and 30 of December aren't holidays of any type but we are still getting xmas drops.. aren't we

It doesnt have ANYTHING to do with where they are stationed or what their nationality/religion is. It is extremely narrow-minded and ignorant to assume that.
What it has to with is, quite simply, the targeted clientbase. Its a game released worldwide... If it was a game released just in USA its another thing. Its not. Or do you assume otherwise?

Start thinking please.
PS. Look up the term "hypocrisy" as well.
