Problem with EotN dungeons. :(
I have my 4 EotN reputation titles maxed, and I'm trying to max out my eye of the north title. I have 964 points, and can't figure out what I'm missing. I've narrowed it down to normal mode dungeons, which I am doing 1 by 1.
I have now completed Rragar's Managerie, Raven's Point, and Frostmaw, and did not get any reputation points upon completioin. I know I should get some amount of Vanguard/Norn points upon completion, but I do not. I get the chest, and I complete the quest, but I do not get those reputation points. Additionally, I do not get my Eye of the North points, which is what I really want. I feel these are not related. (Not getting reputation points in the chat, and not getting eotn points in my title counter.)
Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong? Or is this just a bug?
If it's just a bug, it's an annoying one. Even in normal mode, Rragar and Frostmaw are a major pain in the you know what.
Help? Anyone?

If you have not completed a dungeon in either normal or hard mode it will show up on your main map with a wooden door icon. After completion this icon will change to an opened treasure chest.

Since you said you can't figure out what you're missing, use that knowledge to make sure you're doing the right things.
Past that, dunno

I have finished them all in hard mode, it's normal mode that I need to do. I just don't want to have to do these dungeons again just to NOT get the points AGAIN.

- Do every primary quest in EotN
- Then do them again in hard mode
- Finish every dungeon in normal mode
- Then finish them again in hard mode
- Explore the EotN places in map
That'll earn you the maxed title. Keep both normal and hard mode books with you, so you can keep track which dungeons and primary quest you have done.

Now im not entirely sure whats going on here as ive only got 750 points in my North title, but i do know you can get more than 1000 points, theres something like 1030 points available, have you tried getting some of those extra 30 points and seing if you gain points then. Also have you set your game to hardmode and actually looked at every dungeon, every area and making sure none of them are red. Because 38 is quite a few points. Also have you ran around the boarders of every area + town?

Your not getting rep points because your past R8 and in normal mode.
You did not get EoTN points because you must have already done the dungeons you tried in NM.
If you did not keep the books to help keep track of your progress then you will have to just keep repeating stuff until you figure out what you are missing.

as a previous poster mentioned he should be able to tell which dungeon is missing just by looking at the map icons. there is no need to use the books to do it.

Wiki tells you what you get points for. Completion of all quests and dungeons in both NM and HM gives most of those points, but also from vanquishing and mapping.
1) 11 Primary quests in NM = 55 points
2) 11 Primary quests in HM = 110 points
3) 18 Dungeons in NM = 180 points
4) 18 Dungeons in HM = 360 points
5) 15 Zones to Vanquish = 225 points
6) Mapping = 101 points possible
The quests and the dungeons all have icons on the map to tell you if they have been completed, and each zone has an icon for vanquishing as well. The only thing you can't tell from the map is your Cartography. Even if you managed to complete all the quests, dungeons and vanquishing without doing ANY mapping, you'd have 930 points. 70 points in the Cartography should be quite easy to find, as most of it will be done simply by doing the Vanquishing.

I may not have understood correctly, but why do you care about the reputation points anymore if your reputation titles are already maxed?

I only care about the rep points because they did not register, and I also did not receive my EotN points. I have done about 12 of these dungeons in NM this week, and for all but those three I did receive reputation points in the chat box. For the 3 I mentioned I did not receive reputation points, AND did not receive my EotN points, which I may or may not expect to get.

Maybe if you're really confused you should make a checklist of every dungeon, mission, and vanquishable area and that way find exactly what it is you need to do. Worst case, you start from the start of the list and just do everything over again.

also use Texmod to see what you are missing, if anything, of the cartography. Although it cannot account for all the points missing of course

He seems to obviously be ignoring everyone that is telling him:
THE ICONS CHANGE FOR COMPLETED DUNGEONS AND MISSIONS.
Turn your game to NM "LOOK AT THE ICONS"
Turn your game to HM "LOOK AT THE ICONS"
Was that too confusing.

I would assume its the mapping bit where the points are missing. Its hard to determine if you have done them all.
