not true, everything's fine. I can use my old armors and customized weapons without any problem.

that's right.
even players that got their nickname changed due to violation of naming policy had previously their armors still linked to old names, but they could use them.

15 bucks for a name change too? Eesh... and 10 bucks for storage... GW is turning into every other free RPG out there, making people pay an outrageous amount for something that's simple...

What else is a crock? All the equipment bags except one have to use "Zaishen coins" instead of just gold. Fail.

Was just wondering. If you do change your name and as you said the old name is on it and then I were to use the name on the armor could I wear it?

There are some people who have more armor than what they can fit into storage on their PCs.

After spending a long time fighting the saturation of the site, I miraculously managed to purchase a name change.

I just did it, and after reading this thread I was kind of scared, but I said ah well, and went for it.

Needless to say... Everything's fine! I can successfully equip my armour, weapons, etc.
PS: I didn't do a make over (yet!)

No, customization is bound by Character ID, not character name. So if you create a new character with the same name, you'll have a different Character ID and be unable to use it.

I'm going to close this since the matter was resolved/never there in the first place and I don't want others to get confused thinking this is indeed a bug.
